Chinese here, basically I haven't seen any crime ever(I am 22 years old), the only way I can know is from news and social media. A while ago, a stabbing incident occurred at a university in China. One reason why some people died was that many people were not afraid but curious, so they did not run away or resist at the first time. Last year, the incident of three men harassing a woman and then beating her made the front page headlines for a week, and the central government even launched a special anti-crime campaign in that city. So you know it's safe here most of time , welcome to travel! I highly recommend my hometown, Chengdu!

The cars don't fully stop at the zebra crossing is because the traffic rules in China is that you can actually turn right when it's red light, so the cars basically only give way to pedestrians, but don't have to fully stop, if there's no one crossing, they will just drive on. So do watch out for cars coming that direction even if it's green man, most will just edging in slowly when people cross. Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your trip!

A lot of tourists misunderstand the payment method in China. If their Alipay doesn't work or they don't want to use it, they can pay by cash, and it's the law; the seller can't refuse payment by cash.
Shanghai is very green. When you were there, Egypt sent thousands of cultural relics to be exhibited in the Shanghai Museum. It is worth seeing. Have a good trip!
I love loads of different cities but my favourite observation deck would have to be Summit in NYC 🙌🏼 I’m also a fan of south east Asia & Singapore & Kuala Lumpur are next on my list…. Id never thought of Shanghai as a great place to visit until now - you’ve sold it to me guys! 🫶🏼

We didn’t have much of a challenge. We’re lucky our girls are really well behaved and love travelling and Shanghai was very safe and clean and people very helpful and friendly.
HI, I'm a Shanghainese ,if you are still in Shanghai, I recommend visiting Wukang Road and the nearby streets, there are many beautiful boutiques and western restaurants to explore. And north bund is better than the bund, less people, same view. Hope you have a nice trip!

16:19, that non carbonated herbal tea soft drink up untill 2012 ( I think ) was the number one soft drink in China beating up Coca Colai in sales. I think in 2012, the brand owner and the distributor had a quarrel and they split it into 2 brand. The distributor came up with the marketing idea that the herbal drink which was originally for "cooling Heat" (traditional Chinese medicine term) supposedly help take out the "heat" from Hot Pot. Chinese hot pot restaurant is about the most common restaurants in the country.
Talking about Uber, I do miss the days when they were around. Back then, Uber China and Didi were in fierce competition, constantly offering deals and subsidies. You could even ride more than 20 kilometers in Shanghai for just one pound. But after they stopped competing and took equity stakes in each other, with Uber China merging into Didi, the prices for ride-hailing services have been getting increasingly expensive.😂😂😂
Shanghai is nice, clean and modern but my favourite Chinese city has got to be Shenzhen purely because its close to Hong Kong and I can use my Cantonese there, so im a bit biased...but to be honest any major city in China are all living in 2050. Their government has spent their money very wisely in developing their places for the greater good of the people...instead of putting most of their monies on wars.

如果喜欢这种建筑风格，杭州苏州都可以去看看，特别是苏州，整座城市都是园林。
虽然日本人侵略我们的时候烧掉了一些原始的大的花园，不过我们又重新建造了。
