It's all depends on individual. I landed in Canada 6 months ago. After landing my first priority was to get a job. I searched everywhere and got a job in best buy without any experience in just 17 days. And most of my friends who were determined they got the part time job within one month. And there are many more who enjoyed after landing and now they are still jobless.
The main thing I love in canada is, there is a equality, if you and your wife get a full time work permit, after your study you can easily buy a house, 2/3 cars. Doesn’t matter in which company you are working in. In Bangladesh if the couple do government job for 20 years, still they can't buy a house. That's the problem. Which jacket a Millionaire or justin trudeau can buy, I can buy the same jacket. Obviously there is a bad time going through.but the system is well organised, toronto is a different case, beacuse of population boom. But in other Provinces you have the opportunity to build a good career and lead a quality life.

@@mohaiminulmohit1875 It's depends on family conditions. Bachelor is a lifetime investment. You can get a pr doing 1/2 year courses, but maybe you have to do fulltime this hourly based salary. Or maybe maximum you can be a restaurant or retail company manager. But if you complete your study, It's going to help you throughout your life. Your starting salary could be double of what you invested in 4 years. That's the point. If your family have the capability, go for bachelor. You can return that money easily in future.

I am a US board certified physician from Bangladesh. I highly appreciate the informations have been shared here. If someone really wants to succeed in life then they must have to know the negative sides, the obstacles ahead of them, the distractions to avoid to be well prepared to deal with it to be successful. When I started my journey I used to listen everyone’s story especially those who couldn’t become successful in USA. That way I was prepared for the worst. I knew what was the cause of failure, what to avoid, how to be prepared. What challenges you have to face and overcome. Depending on your situation the dream to become a US physician could be a nightmare with failure or success at the end of a breathtaking, hard struggle. Information is hugely important in your journey. One has to be strong to face the truth. It’s up to you if you want to be discouraged with the information or use it in your favor to achieve your dreams.

It is true that there is no job opportunity in Canada because there are some other communities like indian and Chinese, they have strong connections, it is not easy to compete with them, millions of Indians and others coming to students visa, almost all are getting jobs, because of their connections. So we need a good advisory Bangladeshi community, we should help each other more.

The situation is quite similar in Portugal 🇵🇹 too, especially regarding Job market, housing crisis, inflation, language barrier, public healthcare, though free is overburdened and huge delay in paper processing. 😢 I have been in Portugal for 20+ months, have seen things first hand. Portugal certainly has plus sides too. It probably has one of the best weather in the world. Drug issues are minimal. It is one of safest countries of the world. People are very friendly. But people coming in with investment have huge potential to do businesses.

We couldn't give proper religious education. Parents need some good information on how to raise their children. Also need to live in a closed community. It is good that situation is changing. The situation in Canada is dire. I was heartbroken to see homeless international students both in Van City and Toronto. The Canadian government is taking in more immigrants without developing sufficient housing or infrastructure to support that massive population growth. I would urge everyone who is planning to move abroad for studies to do their research; getting a degree doesn't really mean you are going to get a high-paying job based on the $$$ you invested to get that degree. Not everyone will get a job straight out of college making 6 figures except for Doctors, lawyers, or comp scis.

    1. Same story applies to US, Canada, Australia, NZ, England too 2. dont come as a student, your Bangladeshi Bachelors degree is world class. Get experience in Bangladesh then move here as PR 3. Totally disagreed with the term "Canadian Education" and "Canadian Experience" part, its a vague term 4. I am bit biased but get a degree in Computer Science, Electrical engineering, IT etc, lots of jobs are there, Canada is the next IT HUB of North America. ( I guess its already is)

She is absolutely right about public transit in Canada. It became horribly unsafe in Calgary around 2015 and beyond. No decent person dared to use it due to all the reasons she mentioned. Also same experience in Vancouver public transit and Vancouver city in general. Canada is a heaven for antisocial elements and related crimes. I never lived in Toronto/GTA but I can guess what types of issues people face there with the largest population.

About the job you need to ask yourself what can you offer to your prospective employers ? Name at least two professions that you can perform masterfully then you wil have no problem with job. If you don’t, then I would recommend pls learn some trade that might help you as well as the employer.

Bitter true reality for so many people. I can relate to so many of these events described. This struggle educates one to perseverance. For me, it was to finish school at any cost.. so many faces fell apart and washed away. Yet somehow they too have come across good in life and I am very happy for them. Finding happiness at the end of the day is everything. Staying strong, is something you have to nurture every day in your heart. Always remain optimistic. Don't let drugs or depression distract you. Think how beautiful life is and it will help you overcome anything that comes your way.

Working ftom home . I went with a super visa.
She came here last year & this year too. Have very little interest to go again. The inflation rate is also a big barrier for us now. What she said & expressed her concern about international students is 100% true. A student goes there with a BIG DREAM & finally many comes back fully frustrated, with severe depression & with mental
illness.Financial stress is one of the cause .But for those who are solvent financially, the story is different. Many of them goes derailed and some comes out successful . Pls see the reality of what is going out there once one students goes out of the loving home , leaving parents ,and relatives behind .Yes Canada is a good place for living ,but you have to work HARD to see a bright light in front of you & a good future too .😊😊

  • @nayem30
    @nayem30 9 месяцев назад +1

It totally depends on the individual. Although I am not from Canada, I completed my masters from Germany, and now I work here. Even for someone from Buet, I had to face tremendous mental, financial stress. I even came to my breaking point at times. But those who follow my social media posts, they only saw how happy my life is here. But in the end, Alhamdulillah it worked out for me. Now if anybody ask me, if the whole journey was worth the pain, I will still say yes. But you need to believe in yourself and work constantly on improving yourself.
Having said that, I also know people who couldn’t survive here and had to go back.
So in the end it all comes down to individual perseverance and determination. Someone might do great things in life living in Bangladesh, while others might struggle in Canada or Germany

In Bangladesh, achieving a politics-free, traffic-free, equal, and ethical environment can be challenging without influential political connections. In contrast, living abroad stands out with its emphasis on impartiality and a structured society, providing a quality of life for an individual.

There has been a drastic change in past few years. It’s seems normal to see a huge shift in every aspect of life when it is in 10 to 20 years time frame, but swift shift of this kind is not going to be unnoticed. There are international students lined up in food banks, students lined up at housing shelters, working at businesses that are abusing wages, and on the other side there are students that are living in top tear facilities that can’t even be bought by average Canadian.

Someone who had there undergrad here would be far more smarter and marketable product in the job market. Here is how it works :
#1 local kids who did high school and undergrad and/or masters
#2 international students with undergrad and/or masters in canada
#3 international students with masters only in canada
In this country, the concept FIT is very important. And that is not only education. You have to be able to assumulate with main stream with how you wine and dine, the sports etc. So for a international student who came to do undergrad will have much more advantage over someone who came for masters.

      Disagree.
The profile of the guest and thousands more successful Canadian Bangladeshi who migrated for Msc or phd are a testimony to that.

@yahiaamin you are entitled for your opinion. Don't want to dishonor your guests' profile or some other people you know who came and got a degree here and claim it a success. I think you did not even comprehend the point i made. Did it occur to you that you may got some true advise from someone far more experienced and successful than your guest or anyone you have came across!! The only reason I pointed out this is because I don't want you to give inaccurate information to young students

People may have to struggle to keep their life going in Canada now these days but that will not deter Bangladeshis from going to Canada.
Actually, this is not only true for Canada but for every developed countries in the world. If you want to have recognition, you have to work hard decently. There is no short cuts.
Problem with Bangladeshies in Canada is that they want to get themselves too much attached. As a result, all try to land in Toronto, rather than exploring other places, other communities and ultimately, they all suffers due to over concentration and over crowd.
