      Best results I god with up-side down, color change in first layer on textured sheet, like box in this video (only the I+V letters, but that black date inside doesn't look so good) ruclips.net/video/OBxocd2nDR0/видео.html

    Hi. I have flsun SR. Flsun SR is not in Průša slicer, but I want printing multicolour. Can I do it in Cura slicer?

    Think I will try this method with a "wipe" instruction after every tool change.

    Is there a setting to tell you which color to load into the printer? I am trying to print 3 colors but cant tell which color I am supposed to load in

      This depend of the printer. I tried some notification g-code commands, they didn't work with that version of firmware on Prusa MK3. Since that I didn't tried 3 color printing (only 2). Try to add 1, 2 or 3 beep sounds before color change (depend of the color).

      @@MyTechFun I made a custom code that parses gcode files and tells you which extruder you are supposed to change to. I put it on the pruss forum if you want to see

    When I try to do this method I get a black screen after I hit the print button on my MK4 Prusa. Any suggestions?

    Did you figure out a way to stop the "filament change" after the initial primer line is printed? Mine keeps doing what yours did in your video. I load the first filament, then it starts and primes the line, then immediately asks for a filament change...Any idea how to fix this?

      When I generate G-code, I open it with Notepad and delete the first M600 command.

      @@MyTechFun Thanks! Any way to change the default values in Prusaslicer directly so I don't have to edit the G-code every time?

    • @pascal5530
      @pascal5530 Год назад +3

      Just add this to "Tool change G-code" under "Printer settings" -> "Custom G-code":
      {if previous_extruder == -1}
      ; we want to supress the first unnecessary M600
      {else}
      M600
      {endif}
      At the beginning of the print the previous_extruder is not set yet, so we can just check for it and only add the M600 for all other extruders. Works like a charm 🙂
