I beg to differ, I believe we are in book three. Here’s why. Book one started with Roman coming back with the wise man at that summer slam. He signed the contract, Walked in, wrecked everyone, and left champion. Book one ended after putting the usos down and putting them in line, they won the undisputed tag titles. The end. Book two is titled a new challenger and begins with cody coming out of the codyvator, obviously ends at mania forty with Cody winning and Roman rolling off into the sunset. 1…2…3. We all thought Cody had become the main character. Roman is still THE guy. Henceforth we are now in book three of the bloodline and it started with solo assuming the throne and donning that sacred ula fala.
The entire concept of “the guy” no longer exists. It’s a title from a bygone era, an era that only allowed for one to sit atop a throne that kept other massively talented performers down. That was the era where… it just didn’t work for the top guy, brother. This era? This era is a time where many, many excellent athletes create a roster that from top to bottom, the sum of its parts are unequivocally greater than any single part. Roman isn’t is what he is right now without Cody. Cody isn’t what he is without Roman. And that’s just Friday nights.

I can see it going as far as Rumble and being mad personal. And I love how its a story bubbling, so its cooking in the background and building to the eventual climax of Orton, Owens and Rhodes.
With Roman and Cody I feel like the phrase “Two sides of the same coin.” They are two appointed, anointed, and crowned heads of their families. Families that have been fighting for decades. Both are/having been at the top of the game. Cody’s right; he is the champion of the company. Yet because they are the same coin they always push pull each other to elevate. I could easily watch a decade of them. They could actually save the DC movie verse.
Always a great time to sit in and see the WWE through the enhanced lens of Not Sam Wrestling . WWE has stepped up even more by having big stories carry through other PLEs to actually reach for the turning point PLEs of the year. There’s not only Wrestlemania to be the biggest thing you saw- no it’s Summer Slam too, and then Survival Series War Games. They still have to find a way to make Crown Jewel interesting but Bad Blood really did cook up to become something exciting. You have to be grateful to have actually closed Book One of The Bloodline to completely start a new Bloodline book. I really enjoyed the face off but maybe the last line was lame even if it was true. “You’re in my way…In Life!” 😂 I felt like Lion King music was going to play and Simba was going to be called in.
I said maybe 5 years ago if not more, I see wrestling changing on TV. I wished they’d move the weekly shows into more tv than anything. Where the wrestling parts get settled on PPV events, and the stories are told weekly but not just in a ring talking. That’s old school. They should do this all the time. They should meet at a bar next time, or taking a walk in a downtown setting, etc… these promos should be for the tv viewers. Make the shows “more TV” than wrestling. Not just with Roman/Cody. But others that can act too, like Cena, LA Knight could do it, Seth, Punk, all these guys can really bring the promo and story as well.

I think he wants to eliminate the new Bloodline and it's going to take more than one match. I had an elusive thought of Cody wanting to help Roman rebuild his family and how it brings the Rock back in.

A great segment but is overboard to consider this to be on the same level as Stone Cold Vs Rock. We need a true 1 on 1 between Reigns & Cody with no interference plus more hatred and emotion in this fued. Rock Vs Cody has more heat for me.
Either creative need a raise or if that was ad lib from cody and Roman they sold this next arc perfectly. If we dont get Jimmy after bad blood , its going to be Cody talking to RKO for wargames. Thats if they dont a tag titles push.
Fuck the Rock. We need Cody v Roman 3 at 41. No interference, no help, no bloodline, no shenanigans. Just a KILLER match. Like the one they put together at 40 before all the crazy stuff started
Am I the only one that started thinking that Roman might pull a Seth Rollins on Cody Rhodes at Bad Bloods by hitting him in the back with a chair? The way he emphasized "take BACK what's mine" made me think Cody is getting a chair in the back. My scenario: Cody is about to pin and win the tag match. Roman enters the ring, hits Cody in the back with a chair (to do what he thought about doing at WM 40 before he eventually decided to hit Seth Rollins for revenge). Then Roman pins to win the tag match.
My only thing when we talk about potential opponents and it happens every time these discussions come up is that it doesn’t need to happen in this reign, or even for a title at all. There’s a lot of matches for Cody to have-not only do they not all have to happen during this reign, it would be genuinely detrimental for this reign to last long enough to do even half of them. After this temporary team-up KO should face him, and after that it should be Randy and that should be the end of the reign. Me personally? I want him to lose to Randy before Mania so it can be Randy VS Cena for the title but I know that’s not gonna happen. But I don’t wanna see destination booking, where the reign itself and the rest of the roster suffers for some moment you have 8 months in the future and that’s what WWE has been doing a lot lately
And he knows that now that roman is alone he's gonna be more dangerous than before😂.cody spoke fact roman lost everything. But guess who delivered dangerous words to cody roman.you standing in my way in life, you just signed yourself into lose lose situation,I have nothing to lose, but you have everything to lose.everything to laying eyes on here is mina.those words are so dangerous and you know roman is the man of his words ges lowkey out to destroy cody but cody dosent even realized it.roman will be codys downfall.hes setting up all codys freinds to turn on him.then strike take back the title.this at will lead to roman dethroning cody down the line.
Sadly, Cody won't ever measure up to roman, simply because cody has no character to ever be a global top draw like roman. Cody is just a typical politician, and the hurtful truth is roman gives Cody character which means Cody is literally being carried by roman. Cody needs roman to be interesting. Roman doesn't need Cody to be Interesting
@thomas3146 you can live in this fake world in your brain, but its clear to see that Cody is a star. This will go down as one of the best rivalries in wrestling history
This only matter because no Cody has the upper hand (the title) and Roman needs his help and needs to fight him. Roman acknowledged Cody with the “in life” line.
they're the 2 top talents??? Roman yes, Cody well ... I'd say Seth would be the second.... Also I believe Roman will slightly let his guard down thinking Cody has his back and Cody will turn on him ... but regardless there will be a lot of "accidental" hits to each other in this match
At some point, Cody needs to throw the fact that both Rock and Roman are failed football players who only turned to wrestling when their real dreams fizzled out. Cody always wanted to be a wrestler, and his family always wanted to be wrestlers. This wasn't a fall back plan, this was their life.
so how long does it take for us to get to cody vs roman 3?? do we have to go thru roman reuniting 1 by 1 with the original bloodline, only after he takes out both solo & then fatu?? or does this get sped up by survivor series?? and i lov SD right now -- but seth is leaving a big hole being gone from raw ATM -- when des he return??
I could care less about Kevin Owens. But as a wrestling fan 30+ years I’ve been saying this is the first time in 20 years WWE finally have legit rivals on par with Rock and Austin.
Ok saying Cody and Roman is better than the Rock Austin rivalry is literally laughable and recency bias. Rock and Austin both had matched Aura inside their rivalry and outside their rivalry..Cody outside the bloodline, his dads name and being a theme music merchant hasnt had any memorable runs, he has no aura at all. This rivalry has been off the back of great storytelling by Roman and the bloodline. Cody is just that guy, you could put anyone in codys position, it showed when Roman was having his feuds with Sami, Jey, everyone wanted someone to take that title, just so happened to be Cody. Rock and Austin were built off their own backs

Cody Rhodes don't trust OTC and l feel the same ☝️ Great segment ❤ it
And he knows that now that roman is alone he's gonna be more dangerous than before😂.cody spoke fact roman lost everything.
Codys story was achieving the 'American dream'. I think the story shud be him doin anythin to keep that 'dream' alive ( If he goes heel)
It was a lil cheesy in the second half, but it was a cool scene
Sadly, Cody won't ever measure up to roman, simply because cody has no character to ever be a global top draw like roman. Cody is just a typical politician, and the hurtful truth is roman gives Cody character which means Cody is literally being carried by roman.
Cody needs roman to be interesting. Roman doesn't need Cody to be Interesting
All stats prove otherwise, your absolutely wrong
@@urenaanthony91he is right.
@thomas3146 you can live in this fake world in your brain, but its clear to see that Cody is a star. This will go down as one of the best rivalries in wrestling history
@@urenaanthony91 Reigns is still a bigger star. no matter how much you twist this
@@sahas4871 rightfully so, reigns is an all time great and IMO one of the best heels the company has ever seen. IMO he's already top 3 All time
PS with the let them cook…Roman, Kevin Owens, etc…it feels like all the Cody storylines are converging.
A desperate man is a dangerous man
This only matter because no Cody has the upper hand (the title) and Roman needs his help and needs to fight him. Roman acknowledged Cody with the “in life” line.
excellent
Cody don't ever realize he is danger ☝🏾🩸 💯🔥
Which match wil you choose next year WrestleMania??:
1. Rman vs The Rock
2. Cody vs The Rock
3. Roman vs Cody
4. Roman vs Cody vs Th Rock
Nice one
Metro Boomin, not Boom, but it’s all good Sam lol
We in chapter 4 in the bloodline saga
they're the 2 top talents??? Roman yes, Cody well ... I'd say Seth would be the second.... Also I believe Roman will slightly let his guard down thinking Cody has his back and Cody will turn on him ... but regardless there will be a lot of "accidental" hits to each other in this match
At some point, Cody needs to throw the fact that both Rock and Roman are failed football players who only turned to wrestling when their real dreams fizzled out. Cody always wanted to be a wrestler, and his family always wanted to be wrestlers. This wasn't a fall back plan, this was their life.
New word…. Theatre 🎭
Bully Ray is right. Cody Rhodes is a heel.
Just amazing ☝️
so how long does it take for us to get to cody vs roman 3??
do we have to go thru roman reuniting 1 by 1 with the original bloodline, only after he takes out both solo & then fatu??
or does this get sped up by survivor series??
and i lov SD right now -- but seth is leaving a big hole being gone from raw ATM -- when des he return??
What did Cody mean when he said you went back to the beach?
He meant Roman went back to Florida
Roman went to Florida and started training with Dusty
@@baffourappiah3853Roman went to work for dusty
@@BigDic-qz8su in fcw?

I could care less about Kevin Owens. But as a wrestling fan 30+ years I’ve been saying this is the first time in 20 years WWE finally have legit rivals on par with Rock and Austin.
Wait... Roman IS a heel?! Waaaaah??? Who's been saying that for months now
I think we're heading towards the Austin/Bret switch with Cody and Roman. Cody is eventually going to turn on him
It's time for Roman reigns to take back what's his
Imagine they form there own team Cody Rhodes and Roman reign form a tag team champion
Dusty is smiling
Roman winning the Rumble confirmed
I think story wise. Cody was eluding to its not yours to take because it's the rocks to take
plus lucha bros....plus MCMG plus Guilia and everyone else .....the feds are COOKING
Sam bout to bust
And the Oscar goes to?
Jay beat Roman before Cody
