I'm uploading this the day after Kenny Rogers passed away. I have been a big fan of his since I was a little kid. I loved the movie "The Gambler" (and the song, of course), but fell in love with his whole catalog as I got older. He had a unique voice and an unmistakable ability to communicate the emotion of any song about as well as anyone who has ever stepped up to a microphone.
"She Believes In Me" has always been one of my two or three favorites by him, and the concept of the song served as the inspiration for one of my own original songs, "She Thinks I Can".
His physical presence will be missed, especially by those who knew him personally...but his recorded legacy will grace the rest of us for all coming time. RIP Kenny....ya done good sir! :-)
