Trace the metal pan on a paper template, cut it out, then fold the paper in half, and in quarters to find the center, poke a hole in the paper center, place it on the pan, perfect center.....😘
To find the center of a circle, draw two non-parallel chord line segments connecting arbitrary points on the circle. For each of the previous line segments, draw another line which is perpendicular to the line segment and cuts it right in the middle. These two new lines will meet exactly in the center of the circle.
I do a lot with concrete. When using any type of mold get some spray oil (like Pam etc.) and liberally spray the inside. This helps to release your concrete from the mold when everything is set up.
Love this project, Jorge! Great job! I'm going to tweak it a little bit and use a metal flange and a round piece of wood for the top and see how that turns out. BTW, try using spray PAM for the inside of your plastic molds. They usually easily release the cement. Thank you for this fabulous project and instructions! Love, love your DIYs!! You are definitely the BEST!
Great job. During our first lockdown which is over a year now. I also made a side table using cement concrete and added clothes dye to the mixture which gives it a marble type look with hairpin legs. I was so please with it as It also doubles us as a plant stand.
I wonder if getting a screw on top is possible for future moving, it would help to be able to disassemble the tray from the leg/base combo. I love the look of these. Now I look at plastic containers differently (future mold use), Thanks!
@@casa_refined or just find coupling to glue to underside of pizza pan and one that tops the leg which will screw into each other...comprenez? Hope that makes sense. I do like the narrow rod and it is stronger than a similar dowel would likely be, imo.
already subscribed. love everything about your channel. I am a DIYer myself. If I made this table I would have used black iron pipe with flange and for top I would have used round wood board that is available in Lowe's ( or something form thrift store). that way it would be easy to secure the board to the base with screw.
They make actual release agent for working with concrete in molds. I would just ask at your Store, or if you are at a craft place. Mold release agent is also used for a silicone projects. Why did you use copper pipe? Copper is valuable compared to other types, isn’t it? Also, copper has its own beauty, so it seems a shame to paint it black. I like this project a lot. A high school geometry teacher would be able to tell you how to find the center of a circle quickly and easily. I would suggest you consult one before hand so that you could add that extra bit of knowledge and confidence to your video.
Hi again! Hey...google the Tova Rue Sunset table. I love that shape...how cool would it be in cement or a mixture of cement and wood then painted matte black? Maybe a possible future DIY??? I've been dying to try it but not sure where to begin!
This is amazing and thank you. I've been looking for an ideal drink table and just can't find what I want. I will be following this video to make my own!

This is what I would suggest too🙌🏼💥
I love your channel Jorge, everything is so realistic and tangible.
Glad you're enjoying! 😁
Very sleek! Love it. Playing in concrete is cheap and so fun for creative decor.
Thanks! You're right, there is so much potential. I'm excited to work with it in the future. I'm not intimidated by it now 😂

I love that table and it's a great idea for space-saving, now to get it made.

Great work! And I loved how happy/proud you were when you took it out of the mold.

Thanks for the tip!

That is what I was thinking too! Maybe a wood rod should be used instead.

If you put a cup of coffee on the edge, does the pizza tray and glue connection hold it?
Why didn't u paint the cement part, too? Thanks for this...
