This presentation has given me a new idea on how to monitor Institutional-Investors Open Interest of interested stocks (about the fluctuation of Option's open interest 6 weeks-out and their ''automated profit target goals''). Thank you for the invaluable insight.
Very crucial to have the COT Index indicator as well to detect possible reversal points. Seasonality indicator would be another good addition as well IMHO. Thank you
about the "open interest and trend", what do you mean by direction of trend? direction of price trend on mt4 charts or direction of commercial trend in COT?

COT, gives the analysis of what will happen in the following week, because it collect all the information about transaction that will take place by the big company i.e the big firms.
thanks, nice presentation. The forecast for NG however turned out to be 100% wrong :) it went from 4 to 9 from that point. It seems that it is not easy to use for forecasting, at least for NG
Thanks a lot for watching. Of course, no tool or analysis can be correct 100% of the time. It's all about probability and trying to get the odds in your favor as often as possible.
@@BarchartOfficial thanks for your reply. It seems it has to be analyzed per future. Since the metals seem to behave differently from NG (natural gas). Like for Gold and Silver the swap dealers seem to be always net short and for NG they seem to be net long. Seems to me that NG is now mainly controlled by large speculators (possibly a big bank) that seem to be trading with themselves (multiple accounts). If you have 2 accounts and a lot of money you can short in 1 account and buy in the other and push the price to where ever you like it to be. Seems this is going on with NG. Although also the producers also seem to increase their short position. It is weird that they add to their hedge at these prices. Maybe it comes out of the ground for free
