- you can use your cellphone video camera zoom with the light on or a video camera zoom with the light on, to magnify the image so you can see the cylinder of the lock, can be 5 numbers to add too or you can try adding by one, the entire line together until open
HATERS! criminals dont need this video to learn, dont be dumb, they just can open the zipper in one second with a pen, wrap your bag and use a combination belt, that way they cant lose time and prefer to work out another easier bag
It definitely works! After nearly 500 attempts I used this video and opened the bloody samsonite bag!

Brilliant. Just one thing to add - it seems that the number to add (i.e. 5 in the video) can vary. Try all the possibilities if you have trouble - add 1 to all, then add 2 to all etc

I was toooooo impatient to spend a lot of time testing from ooo to 999 to find my combo. I just flat out didn’t remember what the number was. I was about to destroy my luggage to open it up. Just before I did that I had the thought “go on RUclips to see if anyone has a solution to this.” To my amazement it worked and 5 minutes after watching this video I am sitting here with open luggage and a smile on my face. The idea of using the camera zoom is genius. I don’t think I could have done it without that.

LIFESAVER. It is a bit harder for the ones with the white plastic on top the cylinder, so you can't really see on the side. Just try to look for indentations from up top. Not super easy (and my eyesight is great) but it worked perfectly. THANKS!
I think I may have one similar to yours but for the life of me, cannot see any indentations. I have lit the torch on my mobile and with the camera of the ipad pointed them at the lock and still nothing 😭😭😭😭
As crazy as this seemed I took a shot and... IT WORKS!! Truly a life saver as we had 2 weeks worth of things that we collected on a trip to Italy that we needed to get access to. Thanks to this clever method, we were able to unlock our luggage and retrieve our things. Thank you!

This totally worked with a different samsonite wheel config. THANK YOU! I didn't see two shiny things. I just made sure that whatever detectable difference there was in that sliver of a gap, each wheel had that same position. Then I just spun each of the 3 wheels 1 number each... until it was the right combo and it popped open on the 5th tumble.

Note that I do not have the same case but the principle is the same. Scary how easy it is. These locks only stop the laziest of thieves.
Allan & Maureen Macintyre I think the best thing is to wrap it, so they don't have time to cut the wrap etc they are going to choose another one, bags with zip can be opened with a pen in one second just pressing the zip with the pen in the middle

Hey! I`ve seen a lot of ppl saying that this is a trick and stuff... this is just the system that the lock has, in which, basically, your password doesn´t has the cylinder right where it is (security system, it´ll be too obvius), but it has it 2 numbers away (The amount of numbers away depends on the kind of lock, you can see it where it says: TPA 001, TPA 002, etc... You just have to find the cylinder, and there you have the pattern, then is just about rolling so you can get your actual password

It worked! For those who are still struggling, all you need to do is to believe this guy and do it! Also it's good to watch other videos for second opinions.
WOW! IT REALLY WORKS! You may have to use a smartphone's camera and do a max zoom + light or use a magnification app + light to clearly see the different metal piece behind the combination lock's cylinders. And in my case, the different metal piece was on the left side of the cylinders. IF YOU DO IT CAREFULLY, IT POPS OPEN!!!

it works!!!! this saved my hubby's favourite luggage bag. Though it was indeed tough to get the light at the right angle and strained my eyes while pushing the wheel aside as much as I can.

is true, but is more easy to open than the lock, just push with a key or pen the zipper and you can open it, the best thing is always wrap your bag, so they dont have time to open the wrap and if they want to steal, choose the ones without wrap or lock, you welcome!

OK, I got a 2 combo TSA007 Pacific USA suit cases which I bought in 2016. Unfortunately, I forgot the lock codes.
I was successful finding the 3 divots.
I passed to the next step : moving 5 numbers up, roteting and pushing the slide button. Still doesn't open.
They have a little pushbutton on the side, but it doesn't go in when pushed (because I didn't find the right code).
Any suggestion how to get successful ?
move all the numbers one time try to open, repeat until open, sometimes is zero times, sometimes 3 times, sometines 5 times, depending the lock, so trying moving all of them aligned one time each try should work

Instead of adding and subtracting. Just adding one numbers to all 3 helped! Went on adding all 3 at one go untill the locked opened.

Jacques Mertens most have the same problem, somebody told me new ones are not so easy, anyways as I always say, locks are a joke when you can press the zipper with a pen and open it, best choice is to wrap it, airport thief don't have time

Worked! Thanks. Mine was a different design Samsonite lock but I just peered under the number wheels until I saw a point of difference and once I did that for all three it just opened. Didn't have to do the second stage. :-)

Samsonite TSA007 - Getting the correct lighting was the hardest part. The shine section was on the left for me, kept going through each number until I saw the groove on each section. It popped open, thanks
