What PixelBush was describing regarding The Plague was that Talbot managed to overpower her and harvested some of the plague in order to see how it would react with his serum. He then injected the Plague with the serum to see how it would work.
The Pustula flowers mentioned are a result of the Entity going through a blight itself (a blight is a fungal infection that causes plants to wither, yellow and die). The flowers appearing during this time and Talbot and the survivors harvested the nectar from the flowers. Talbot had found the lab of a previous survivor named Vigo, who used the nectar to create a serum to escape the Entity realm. Talbot attempted to replicate the serum and experimented on himself and the various killers. Eventually when the Entity was getting back to normal, the flowers disappeared and Talbot had become addicted to the serum as a result of the experiments. The Entity banished him to the Void, where he went through withdrawal. The Entity then realized that it could give him more flowers and nectar in return for his servitude. So it then forced a Blighted corruption of Talbot by injecting large amounts of nectar, turning him into the Blight.
This is one of Pixel’s older videos so he doesn’t have his usual format, he does have a very interesting video about what he sees is a logical inconsistency with Blight’s character as Talbot, and what his actual in game power being.
I thought pustula flowers are just flowers of the entity itself, only formed when the entity blooms. (The entity is shown to be a plant like thing)

@@scarletsage6267 the fact that it goes through a plant based disease shows that some part of it is plant based. Think of a plant spider hybrid then.
The flowers itself are a result of the blight it goes through but it can always create more because it can create anything, as seen in the cutscene with Talbot getting injected with vines.

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames There was another tome where it explained Blights transformation more. Tomes are lists of challenges that you can complete in return for in game currency and lore. After completing these challenges I got to see the cutscene for Blight's transformation.
If you want to watch it for yourself I suggest not to read further as I basically summarise the scene.
The Entity seems to lead him with a trail of flowers to a point where rather than toy with him and make the flowers wither away. They remain there and he is able to take out the serum. Suddenly the flowers grab him and inject him with massive amounts of serum. This turns him into the Blight.

Only the characters, the main lore with The Entity and the trials is a little messy and weird, but it's the equivalent to the FNAF lore, in terms of messiness and weirdness.

There's paragraphs upon paragraphs of random DBD lore, I use to read that stuff on the website for hours.

I think you'll be happy to know that Dead by Daylight has actually been remaking some of the maps that correlate to certain licensed killers. The first one was Bedham Preschool (Freddy) and are currently in the test build for the updated design of Haddonfield

Love that you're looking into the Lore of Dead by Daylight, though while Pixelbush is probably more well known, he usually tends to fall the side of fan theories rather than actual published information about the game. I'd recommend the "LoreDive" series by Spoiled Fruit if you want to go into this stuff in the future.

Blight was actually a character leaked a long time ago as there was a lore character called the alchemist. Blight is actually the alchemist and teased since first ever Halloween event. A little trivia about blight. I think blight, Billy and huntress are probably the most interesting characters in lore and character design.

Since that video came up we learnt a fuck Ton more about the blight like his early childhood how he became physcotic and got into chemistry and a bit more detail into how he became the blight

They're like 10-20 minutes each and actually discuss the "base lore" and "tome lore" of both survivors/killers and more in depth (in separate videos) compared to this one that spent alot of it giving personal opinions, and flashing monkeys doing questionable things 😂

Fun Fact: Blight is one of the fastest killers in the game.
The killers travel at 4.4 or 4.6 m/s, whereas the survivors travel at 4 m/s. But some killers can travel even faster than their base speed through abilities, perks and add-ons.
The Nurse is the slowest killer in the game, moving at 3.85 m/s, which is slower than a survivor. However, she makes up with her blink ability, which is essentially teleportation, to catch up to survivors.
Yes, killers can go faster and some can even teleport.

We like that they take the time to create lore for the killers 😀
I think guys should totally react to the Blighted Skins for all the Killers, they’re Killers injected with Blight’s orange syringe and essentially takes their core design and amplifies it to 11. They even have some for licensed killers, like Pyramid Head and Nemesis
Should look at the other video this channel did about Blight, "Making the Blight Make Sense" goes into detail about how Blight as a character is basically DBD's version of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde, it's actually quite fascinating

It's definitely more fan direction than behavior crafting some ultra story pyramid that will unveil itself in due time... that said many of the characters are directly connected, especially the Killers and behavior has surely noticed which ones the fans like and are interested in.
It’s kinda smart to let the fans guide the story a bit but that can also lead to some crazy lore like in fnaf 😛

So if you guys want some more DBD lore I recommend AZHYMOVS (that may or may not be butchered) and his channel as a whole he has got to be the most lore focused (for the most part) DBD channel so give him a try

I highly recommend checking out Bricky’s “Dead by Daylight Casefiles”. These vids explains the killer’s play style and how they work in the game, while also giving a brief summary of the backstory to them
Some of these videos are outdated though. Some of these characters he reviews are changed or reworked, but the lore remains consistent
These videos do have occasionally swearing, so I understand if that’s an instant “no”. But! If you like DBD, I highly recommend this series, and just Bricky in general

Thank you for making this video but I would to comment on that this guy did I very poor job on describing the lore of the blight and left out a lot of important stuff, mostly that Talbot Grimes (the Blight) was able to capture and subdue many of the Killers in the game. During conflicts with them

This guy's video could've been more thorough in explaining the various components involved in what Talbot did, used, and what his actions resulted in, and it definitely could've been better organized instead of pinballing around different points of interest. He also needs to practice his elocution.
This is definitely a lore video for those already deeply invested in the world of DbD mixed with memes and random images or footage of the game.

This was Pixel’s first ever video, his latests once are much more put together.
Great video!! Pixel Bush is highly in-depth with his lore analyses, he’s top tier when it comes to thinking outside the box when it comes to the Dead by Daylight universe, taking us into topics we didn’t even know about that are referenced and inspire the lore of the game.
Another fantastic channel I’d love for you guys to check out when you get the time and possibly do a reaction on is Spoiled Fruit’s channel where he narrates the lore of the Dead by Daylight characters and has so far gotten every single characters lore (up to this point, until the next chapter comes out). My Sister and I went against a pretty hardcore Blight tonight. I think we didn't even get a single gen done because the David and Feng-Min on our team went down pretty quickly. The Feng started suiciding on hook real quick because we weren't immediately saving her because the Blight was in our way.
Ultimately we all died except my Sister because the Blight took pity on her and let her escape via the hatch.
Bummer that someone just peaces out and it was basically 2 against the killer instead of 4 😕
What a weirdly edited video, hoped for a bit more seriously taken lore video on killers in a dark world, instead we get comedy and a monkey pissing in it's own mouth, not once but twice.
Yeah once was definitely enough for that one 😂 Guess this was on of his first videos and he’s gotten better but we also plan to check out some other dbd lore vids by creators 🙂
