I have a TS-870, which I have connected to Ham Radio Deluxe latest trial version, and it communicates with the radio just fine. I can move frequency, etc So then I connected the IF out of the radio to RTL-SDR V3 to the USB of the PC. The HDSDR software sees RTL-SDR, but does not display the radio frequency, nor can I emulate the radio's frequency info to the HDSDR software from TS-870, as I can with HRSDR. It appears that the HDSDR is wanting to run the RTL-SDR on its own, without any input from TS-870 radio IF out. I am confused as to how Ham Radio Deluxe and HDSDR work together, along with RTL-SDR dongle V3. What am I doing wrong? Thank you! 73's

I would like to use HDSDR to communicate with RTL-SDR V3 and connected to radio IF OUT port via PC USB, same as this video. Basically trying to do the same as in this video, but no success with HDSDR and RTL-SDR V3. It does not emulate radio frequency from radio to HDSDR, and for which I am not sure how it would just from the IF output of radio to HDSDR. How does the radio frequency get communicated from radio to HDSDR? Is there any software configuration between Ham Radio Deluxe & HDSDR for the display to work with HDSDR? Anyone ? Thanks 73's Ed

Me too, just back into hobby after 30 years and got me a TS-870. I would like to connect to my PC monitor for band scope monitoring.

All you need is HDsdr and Ham radio Deluxe , No other software is needed.
