Eagles fans and Commanders fans were pregaming outside the linc and chanting "Dallas sucks" in unison. It was a sight to behold. So we do have some common enemies.

Why do people hate the Eagles at all? How many Eagles fans do they personally know? What specifically makes them hate the Eagles or their fans? It's entirely manufactured by the media. They constantly frame Philly fans negatively, when they're truly no different from any other great fandoms.
When the Eagles are winning? They aren't winning the right way, and they keep predicting the Eagles' fall. When they lose a game? Philly is unraveling. When a player says or does anything that can be twisted or misrepresented? They pounce on it and claim the team is dysfunctional.
It's absolute nonsense. We're used to it, and even embrace it, since there's nothing else to do with it. Go Birds! 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
All the stories you hear from sports shows on the radio (including throwing batteries) , the clip of them throwing full beer bottles at minnesota fans, the video that just came out where fans were harassing a commanders fan, laughing in his face and then took his hat. So you may be a cool dude but lets put it this way, instead of blaming all philly fans: the percentage of d bags in the philly fanbase seems disproportionately high. So I'm sure it blows for cool philly fans. but the reputation exists for a reason.
@coppulor6500 First off, there's no way they could have thrown beer bottles because there are no bottles sold, not even plastic ones. If you mean in the parking lot, then I'll agree, that ain't right and no Eagles fan I know would EVER do that. As far as harassing a Commanders fan, so what?? It's just busting balls and that happens in EVERY stadium. Fights happen in EVERY stadium. And it's not EVERY fan of any team, it's the small few scumbags that make everyone look bad. For whatever reason though, it's only the Philadelphia incidents that get in the national media. I remember about 20 years ago, Browns fans threw FULL glass bottles of beer at the referees in the corner of the end zone after a bad call. Some got really hurt. It was on the news for 2 seconds then gone forever. Why?? ONE, ONE a-hole threw a battery and all of a sudden, it's the whole stadium that did. Why?? One thing I can attest to because I've seen it in person a hundred times, Philly fans are the most passionate, knowledgeable and loyal fans I've ever seen. Very hard on players who don't give it 100%, yes, but very good to players that do, win or lose.
Philadelphia fans are knowledgeable, passionate, and the very best of us are witty and can have fun with any other fan. If you are going to hate Philly for literally no good reason mentioned here, I don’t care what you think.

Generally speaking, Philly fans are loud, obnoxious, boisterous, disrespectful of opposing fans, and share their opinions without any backing in fact. But of course they'll tell you their opinions loudly and with sincerity, despite them having no backing in reality. They lack any semblance of humility and treat everyone on the outside as a direct threat.
If you're on the inside, they treat complete strangers as if they're direct family. It's a very weird thing to have experienced both sides of it. You appreciate the love from complete strangers when you're on the inside, but it actually sickens you to know how awful these fans are and how quickly they turn into the worst versions of themselves the moment they see anyone who doesn't look like them.
@ I have found we are loud but we enjoy a good debate and we have fun with opposing fans who don’t take things too seriously.
All this is anecdotal-in a city of 1.6 million people, you’ll get all sorts.
The reason everyone is hating on KC is that he is a playoff dream crusher. Excluding the AFC West opponents, that already hate the Chiefs, there are only two AFC teams that haven't lost a playoff game to them in the last 7 seasons, the Patriots and Jets. ( IND, HOU x2, TEN, CLE, BUF x4, PIT, JAX, CIN, MIA, BAL ) You also have to add in the Eagles and 9ers x2. So there are 15 fan bases that directly hate him, and can point to a game in recent memory.

Very few teams in Philadelphia have won championships. All the things you listed that people outside of Philly hate are the result of Philly teams not winning through the years. How many Philly teams have won championships in any sport? Very few. Philly fans are starved.

Those guys are pretty long time ago. Most other big sports cities have guys in the social media age that have been loved nationally or globally. I think Harper should be that but there will always be some push back against him. But I definitely get what he is saying about Rocky there.

I don't care for Eagles, but there have been a few people I've respected over the years. Andy Reid, McNabb, Ertz and now S. Barkley. I love how Saquon has carried himself this year. For example, score TD and toss ball to ref and back to sideline. I like celebrations, but also really like the heads-down get the job done attitude. He has deferred at least 2 records this season for great goal of the team. As Cowboys fan, I am appreciative of these 2 organizations success in getting to the SB.

I’m a lifelong Chiefs fan and KC native and I get the fatigue, I sat through the Patriots for two decades too. It is what it is. Couldn’t care less who likes what. My team is awesome and it’s the most (stressful) beautiful sports available on earth!

As someone who grew up in Philly, I heard something one that feels true. Philly has middle child syndrome. We're not as big as NY, and technically not as important as DC. I grew up in the Chicago suburbs in the 80s & 90s - the Bulls were EVERYTHING to us as kids. I imagine the Kansas City area kids are similar nowadays.

I grew up in the Midwest as a KC fan and then left to go to college on the east coast in the mid-Atlantic. I have never met such disrespectful fans as sports fans from Philly. New Yorkers were annoying, people from Long Island and Boston had their problems, there'd be ridiculousness from the kids moving across state from Pittsburgh, but no one was more of an example I would tell people back home of the worst type of person you could find on the east coast, than people from Philadelphia.
All fanbases have their problem elements, and yet the default fan in Philadelphia is that problem element.

Can't say which I hate more, but I can say I really like Saquan. He is the definition of a team player. He could have pushed to break the rushing record, but stayed out because he thought of the team first. Hope he gets that trophy to rub it in the face of the Giants treating him so poorly.
Chiefs Fatigue Always
As always the number 1 thing I root for is a good quality game. After that I usually pick a team that I'd like to see have a win. With how the Eagles lost last time in the SB to the Chiefs I would like to see the Eagles win this time.
I don't "hate" any team. I love the game and the incredible skill factors that are on display 👏. Be grateful for what you have win or lose.

I don't dislike Mahomes for winning too much, I can't stand him for deliberately taking advantage of the rules in the nfl like tiptoeing down the side line baiting for a 15 yard unessasary roughness call, or a late slide to get that call, or calling for a flag when his throw is uncatchable (in the Super Bowl). Or the audacity when Josh Allen beat him, going up to him after the game and blaming the refs for it
Boston snobbery, goes all the way back to John Adams. Talk about hated...
And fatigue? How about Dallas fatigue? Irrelevant for almost two generations and still make headline news for every bowel movement.
NY has horrible arrogant fair weather fans. they are not diehards at all Boston fans are spoiled but are probably the most like us. Hungry fans like the Bills will probably relate to us more. We are always the underdogs. we won a super bowl where we were the underdog in every single game. Everyone wants a good game we don't want other fans to cheer for us. No one likes us, we don't care.
I don't hate NFL teams. That's kind of weird. I will say this Chiefs team has been underwhelming this year and the Eagles team has been fun to watch, but I can't get over the coaching discrepancy between the two teams. I'm not sure the Eagles can overcome that
What a good take, I think our defense can over come the changes after the punches don’t really know about our offense…. I’m willing to bet our defense will bring us home, but our offense will keep us in the battle by keeping them on the sidelines and converting after each possession🔥🔥🔥
The one things that's concerning is the Eagles' strategy to win is run the ball down the other team's throat, kill the clock, use the desperation of the defense to attack with Jalen on big chunk throws over the top, and then just get a few stops on defense. The only flaws with that plan are that:
1) In a game with limited possessions, the role of special teams is magnified.
-The Eagles are #25 in the NFL in FG% the Chiefs are #12
- the Eagles have the shortest successfully made field goal this season at 50yds and the Chiefs have the player with the longest successfully made FG in Super Bowl history at 57yds,
- the Eagles are #22 in KO return yds allowed the Chiefs are #21
- average punt return the Eagles are #21 the Chiefs are #12.
2) Patrick Mahomes is undefeated (8-0) against a Fangio led defense
3) You have to assume that the Chiefs looking unimpressive this year wasn't a result of them holding back
4) The Chiefs have been missing their starting #2 cornerback until the final month of the season
5) If Philly gets behind and ends up in a situation at the end of either half where they have to throw, they have the #25 passing offense in the league.
Chalk me up for the "Rooting for Saquon" category. He definitely does make the Eagles more likable.
People think Eagles fans have the worst fanbase because they saw some clip of some Eagles fan harassing someone. There's well over a million Eagles fans, a few bad people are packed in there. I want some real evidence to prove Eagles fans are the worst.
No matter how hard Eagles fans try they could never be as bad as Raiders fans (pre-Las Vegas).

Why is it news that our division rivals don't "like" us? We respect each other (except Dallas of course) but no one is asking to be liked, we're asking for good football games and to win, like any other fan base.

As a pats fan I don’t hate either. Pats are 3-1 vs Chiefs and Eagles combined in postseason play. I’m rooting for the eagles tho. I’d like to see Jalen Hurts get revenge and get his chip. Don’t wanna see chiefs repeat but I have nothing against either team
