I saw the Dungeons & Dragons tag in the description and as someone who's been learning to play D&D, I think this story could make a great background for a campaign. Maybe the knight and dragon might run into somebody at the tavern who needs their help, find themselves caught up in a situation much bigger than the two of them, and suddenly go from putting on a show to saving the town for real.
Wait... WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! is The White Night (y'know the guy who princess cheapskate wanted to rescue her instead of our favourite goofy Bard) and his whole hero Image A SCAM?! If so that genuinely might be the funniest plot twist I've ever come across (Or (more likely but much less fun) this could just be a _full on_ scam with an imposter white knight)
Nope, it’s all a scam. That’s the reason he couldn’t rescue the princess from the Bard story. That’s not his dragon. Therefore, the situation is “out of his price range”.
Hi! Really sorry that it took me a little longer than expected to get back to you, I've been really caught up in some personal matters lately. I've been able to listen to this a few times now, and I have to say, I really liked what you came up with here! I was a little skeptical about this option when you first mentioned it in a poll, but I think it ended up being a very sweet parody of the whole "dragon, princess/prince, and knight" trope. I genuinely really like how this is not just the dragon and knight _working together_ to make a quick buck, but they're basically _roleplaying_ while they're at it. This dragoness seems to really enjoy playing a _character,_ even if that character isn't reflective of her true self, and is overall having a _fun_ and fulfilling life running this scam. These two don't feel like the villains or anything - rather, they have the vibe of two weirdos making a living in their own, silly way. Also, considering that "dragon girlfriend" is in the tags, I assume that this dragon and the listener are in a romantic relationship, even if it wasn't outright stated here. I really like that implication that they're _partners,_ not just for this little "business venture" they run, but also for life! Perhaps that's one the reasons the dragoness seems to like playing the role of an "evil" dragon so much, because she gets to _spend time with her human partner_ while doing it. And honestly, I definitely wouldn't mind having a dragon as my partner - I may be outing myself as a _little_ bit of a freak here for saying this, but if I had a simply _enormous_ and powerful partner, who loved me very dearly and saw me as her equal, I wouldn't mind it if she didn't have a humanoid body shape. If I had to give just one _tiny_ critique with this, I think you could have possibly done a little more with making her _sound_ like a dragon. I am just a little biased here, though, as one of my favorite things in audio roleplay is hearing a creator depict a _huge monster_ in audio form - I find that when done well, it can be really immersive! But I completely understand why - I know you're still relatively new to this, and you're still practicing with creating sounds and editing audios to be more immersive. I know you'll get better with time and practice, so don't worry about it! Which brings me to my final point, and what I was thinking you could do next (since I found the secret word). While I absolutely loved this story, I have to admit it's a pretty far cry from what I originally envisioned when pitching the idea of a "dragoness" story to you, and to be perfectly honest, I think my original premise still has some potential, and can be surprisingly different from what we have here. So, I was thinking we could make another audio, with a different dragoness, that goes with what I suggested a while ago - an "Isekai" scenario where the listener mysteriously is transported into this new, mysterious world, and this huge dragoness is the first friendly creature he meets. I actually have a lot of ideas for the plot details, and also suggestions to make this new dragoness sound _even more "draconic"_ than the one in this audio - perhaps we can say she's an even bigger dragon? If this is OK for a general premise, I'll be happy to share the details!
Sounds good. I like doing my dragon voice. I can do another dragon in a different scenario. So dragon meets human listener from a different world. What kind of world should the dragon world be like ?
@@bitterartregret893 Well, one idea that popped into my head was having her be a "volcano dragon" of sorts. Sure, dragons and fire pretty much go hand-in-hand most of the time, so that seems redundant, but the reason for this is less about the dragon herself, and more about the _setting._ You see, in _most_ Isekai scenarios, the protagonist wakes up in a part of the world that's relatively friendly, and meets someone who's humanoid as their first encounter. However, I think it can be rather interesting if the listener wakes in a very _inhospitable_ environment - a very volcanic and desolate area, where this dragon lives. It's not a place that humans would be able to survive, at least not without help. Because of that, the listener would actually be struggling to survive, due to lack of resources/shelter, and also the various scary animals that have been attacking him. When he first meets the dragon, it's because he passed out from blood loss, and she rescued him from the animals that were about to eat him. When he wakes up, he's _completely terrified_ of this enormous dragon, and assumes she's going to kill him. However, she does everything she can to reassure him that she's trying to save his life, despite her fearsome appearance. She'll also comment on on how strange the listener's clothes seem, and that their meeting almost feels like... fate? More than just coincidence? Unfortunately, the listener is still gravely injured, and losing blood quite quickly. Obviously a dragon like her can't do that much to save him, but one thing she _can_ do is lick her wounds clean. Of course, the listener is very much scared by the idea, as he thinks she's going to _eat_ him, but she eventually managed to convince him, as there's no other way for him to survive at this point. After she's done cleaning his wounds with her tongue, she (very reluctantly) admits that she actually really likes the way his blood and skin taste, and asks if she can lick him more, but when he refuses, she respects his wishes - he's been though so much already, it's only fair that she helps him recover first. That's what I was thinking for the general plot. If that sounds good to you, I also have some suggestions for how you can make this dragon sound even more monstrous than the dragon heard in this audio - I've listened to this kind of stuff for a long time, and know some of what really makes this kind of stuff more immersive for the listener!
@@bitterartregret893 And would you like my advice on how to make this dragon sound huge, and kinda scary despite her intentions? I'd be happy to help out with that!

"Your honor has a price, Sir Knight?" "It has *expenses*..."
