Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Sultan Murad learns that his governor has agreed with the physician and sends Emir Çelebi's head to Kösem Sultan (Nurgül Yeşilçay). Valide Kösem Sultan, who learned that Sinan Pasha was a traitor, realizes that he has been exposed. Helpless corners. I wish Ahmet remembered that Kosem was the one who went into the room when he had small pox while everyone had left him for dead. And she was the one who got the rebellion under control. For all of his supposed love for Kosem he bed other concubines on a regular basis, even getting angry on Kosem when she got jealous. Like Suleiman from the previos season. Historic Sulieman was different than they portrayed in the series, history says there was no one after Hurrem, I wish that there was no one after Kosem for Ahmet too.

Beren Saat is to full of herself and therefore does not do justice to this particular role..the blond girl Anastasia was a more fitting actress because there is some innocence and impulsive character which she portrays very well
I personally prefer Beren, i mean the first actress was good but i don't know if she would've been able to pull off a more powerful Kosem.
My problem with the first actress is although she was good i didn't fully like the whole whiny suffering face that she had like 80% of the time, mainly because real Kosem was not like that at all, she was a very composed woman even when she was young. But i have to say that when the first actress acted happy i think she did capture the "happiness" that Kosem had when she was young before losing it as she got older.
@@valentinaromero7697 l agree with you..the first actress as Anastasia had to portray that particular role because the real one was captured as a slave girl at age 15 which was so young.and she had to portray the role as the rebellious headstrong and sometimes whining girl as some teenagers do at that young age.do bear in mind that she was taken away from her own family and was held against her will with strange customs and religious beliefs
@@maureenflovers1331 like a said, i think is good and i understand that it would make sense if she acted that way since she's a teenager, but it is known that real Kosem when she arrived to the palace had no trouble getting used to the new costumes and also learned pretty quickly how to act like a sultana, meaning she was not rebellious, instead she was very smart, adaptive and classy about her whole situation.
Anyways i did find Anastasia's scenes very compelling to watch and they made me look forward for her. I do think that Anastasia should have a little bit of immaturity so you can show character growth throughout the show, but i think they went a little bit overboard with that aspect.
Also i forgot to say that i didn't like how i didn't see much growth since episode 1 and 6 when it comes to Anastasia's attitude and intelect, which kinda bothers me because in episode 1-6 i have to admit that she didn't seem to me particularly special or smart and then suddenly, in episode 7 she acts incredibly clever and sharp and she comes up with all this plans without a problem (more like the real Kosem). This is the writers fault by the way, but i wouldn't have minded the very immature attitude if it was something that lasted like the first three episodes and in the other three they centered more in making her mature more so it does not appear like she suddenly became extreme clever or that they two completely different people.
