Was studyting ccna for about 60 days, making great progress, and then a new video game came out...Wasted 2 months on that. Met some other nerds there though that hyped up AWS, now I am back on track with the CCNA, and know exactly what I will do after that which is an AWS cert.
Your video resonates hard, I tell other people "ya get ccna" and its really that simple, there is no faking a CCNA, u either know it or you dont. with a CCNA u get 60-70k starter salary, with AWS u get an interview for potential 80k.
This can be done by any kind of techie in half a year. GOOD LUCK

I watched your videos especially the "IT certifications vs. College", and back in January of this year, I obtained the CompTIA A+ and now I'm going for the CCNA next year.

Very good advice. I retired in 2017 and I still have a Pluralsight subscription. Lol, it never stops.

Great video! I was an IT Manager for years and didn't have any certifications (2004-2009). I love technology and was all over the place (Apple iOS Developer). Well I've been out of the industry for a while and your words "afraid of failure" is EXACTLY what stopped me. DISCIPLINE is absolutely required. Now I'm working on PCEP --> CCNA --> DevOps eventually (probably Azure for me) . One step at a time! Maybe you have an opinion of "Cloud Resume Challenge"? Thanks for your videos.

Thank you for this video! Your guidance and advise is so much valuable for a starting 26 guy like me who wants to have a future in IT.
I started out with ITF+, A+, Google IT Support, and ITIL v4 Foundation. I will start studying for Network+ and then CCNA!
I checked that ISC2 has a new entry level certification called CC. What do you think about it?

Hello, do you offer consulting services? I've been working in the Engineering/IT industry for large prime contracting companies and I'm interested in starting my own small firm. My question is what certifications would I need for my company to start the business. I am tracking having my own certifications, however is there any specific certifications my company would need to begin. I'm tracking the low voltage certification but is there anything else?
