- Qatar Airways is the World's first launch customer for A350-1000 series. This video document the first flight of Qatar Airways A350-1000.
Check out the LARGEST Airbus twin engine plane made to-date with the spectacular Qsuite, a First in Business and the spacious economy class.
I was able to interview Qatar Airways Group CEO, H.E. Akbar Al Baker during the flight.

I work in the factory where we build these seats for Qatar Airways. These are finished to the highest quality possible. Amazing to see them being in use proud of the work

Said it before and i'll say it again, Qatar's planes interiors are so gorgeous. The colours and finishes aren't tacky like Emirates gaudy gold trim. It just looks so much more inviting and classy

I fly Manchester to Bangkok regularly and Qatar Airways A380 leg is far preferable to the so called Dreamliner.As for Etihad..its a loser for me,taking far too long stop overs,only 23 Kg luggage a poor food in old 777 planes!

I am a Boeing fan, but I must admit that Airbus built an amazing aircraft and i am slowly turning into an Airbus fan. Airbus has been kicking as* lately with the aircraft they have been building. The one plane that I desperately want to see is Boeing 777X.

Adelaide Aviation been on Qatar 787, not as good as a350. More noisy (whiny noises), narrower seats, tv boxes on floor, less leg room, not as good IFE and remit and I don’t even think there was any external camera. And the mood lighting wasn’t as good and it’s not as wide. And come on, the A350 looks way better inside and out!

Was last in Doha in 1986, looking at the city now from above in your video i can see it has changed so much in that time. Great video again and what a fabulous aircraft.
I've never flown on Qatar. I'm going to try them. Their flight attendants seem so professional and international.

Beautiful plane. 3:52 ~ 4.30 those Rolls-Royce Trent engines have that characteristic RR 'buzzsaw' sound on takeoff as the B757 etc.

Hi Sam! Same with you, I too am so in love with aviation. During those years as a cabin crew, I have always enjoyed making myself aware of what part of this world we were flying through. One time, when I was serving snacks and drinks in the flight deck, I looked out into the wind shield and said, "Oh, the Caspian Sea", giving a surprised look on the pilots. What others may not realize is that I love looking at the GPS screen from time to time. I surely would have enjoyed today's in flight technology if I was still flying.

What an absolutely gorgeous aircraft...!!! Can't WAIT to get the chance to fly on one.
Nice 3-3-3 configuration in economy class, it looks confortable and better than the annoying 3-4-3, I mean, the space between middle lines seats aren't so close, so whoever's seatting in the seat in front, won't bother and vice-versa, the food looked awesome.
qatar is my favourite. Can't wait to go on the flight once covid is over

The engineers & interior designers did a hell of a job on this! Looks amazing. A lot nicer & more spacious than the Boeing 727, & 737s I flew on 30 years ago.

Amazing experience by all means on board Qatar airline business class , I have tried many airlines before but they are on the top, the Lounge in Doha worth visiting . A 14 hour flight was the best ever! looking forward next flight on board. I am addicted now to the service and accommodations you are offered on board , I heard the same about the economy class as well.

Actually, A350 - 1000 are direct competitor to Boeing 777-X (a.k.a 777 Next Generation), even though people often compare A350 towards 787
Ernest Jay In my opinion A330 NEO will be competitor to 787.
It can be a competitor to the B787; especially the upcoming B787-10 but specifically, the B777X was made to compete against the A350. The A330-NEOs are the main competitors to the B787, but will probably compete against the B777x in certain markets.
Ernest Jay I think more like a350-900 vs 787-10 and a350-1000 vs 777-8 also note that a350-900 have longer range than 787-10 and 777-8 have more range than a350-1000.
Yet the A350 still beats the 777x in range and efficiency

no worries just settle down in economy in something comfortable and ride it out.
As much as I enjoy watching his videos it kinda leaves a not so good impression that Sam only shows himself as an elite. Somehow he leaves an impression that economy isn’t good. If i’m not mistaken only 1% flies Business or First class. The rest of the world and the reality of it is that the majority can only afford the economy class.

What they do NOT advertise is their customer service, Qatar Airways has NO customer service when you need one, their Twitter DM, Facebook and 24/7 support center numbers are all useless. They can afford to buy the best fleet, but are not able to support their customers. Try their customer service and post facts, not advertising!

It only made me cringe when he was on Etihad and told the cabin crew he wanted to bring back the old Etihad and that he 'doing it for free' (emphasised) by talking to the staff in the back about being spontaneous.
