Honestly in the first episode I really didn’t like Ragatha that much... I don’t know it seemed like she was just nice and that was her only personality trait. I know it wasn’t but she was definitely the weakest of the six circus residents in my opinion. But this episode made me really appreciate her. In the first episode she didn’t really have a chance to bounce off the other characters but in this episode she did and she really works well as a straight man. Honestly Zooble is my least favorite now and they’re honestly not that bad.
You’re the first person to catch that The Fudge was basically a combination of The Greed from the Raggedy Ann Movie and The Great Mighty Poo from Conker. No one’s mentioned the former that I’ve seen yet(I would have, but uh, long story)
Honestly, I can overlook Caine killing-off GummyGoo since Caine is and A.I and doesn't have a complete grasp on human emotions. Jax however has absolutely no excuse! Frankly I hope he gets put through the ringer in a future episode and the consequences of all his actions come back to bite him!
I am saying it, Fudge Monster and Gloink Queen dated once and happily parted ways but never forgot one another or the mayhem they caused together XD. I think this episode works for starting out and coming right off of Pomni's arrival in the Circus. Also RIP Gummigoo you will forever live on with us, in plush form. Also please sing more in these videos, your rendition of I'm a Little Tea Pot needs to be heard around the world!
Not sure if someone mentioned it but the teapots are probably a reference to the Utah teapot a 3D asset that is an inside joke to anything with 3D models (kind of like how hello world is a programming joke as people will put the Utah teapot inside a program to see if it works)
npc also having the ability to think for themselves is something I didnt expect, in fact did caine delete a human character by mistake cause he allowed npcs in the past? Also, though we dont know kazmo very well, it does show that they will care for other circus members if they die (aka abstract) which does break pomni's feeling of being alone as they wont forget her if she abstracts. Also, during the hand grab scene when she was falling, jax was the only one who didnt come to her aid and it makes sense because she doesnt trust jax yet. Kingler is there you just have to slow down that part a lot as his hand does come in to grab her hand to save her fall. I do think gummigoo will come back but as another npc with no memories of her which will break pomnis heart more in later episodes (the creator does love to do that). And the queen will almost certainly come back i mean she only had at most 1 min of screentime and shes too well designed. She will be reused again as another npc. teapots are commonly used in animation 3d classes as a model for new animators so that is a reference to anyone taking college level animation courses as most non animators wont get it. kinda like how painters use bottles and 2d drawers use balls to practice lighting, 3d animators use teapots, just dont ask me why.
I really loved the scenes with Pomni and Gummy Goo, and seeing him learn the dark truth that he's just an NPC with no freedom or agency was really tragic and such an unexpected direction I didn't see the episode take. At least Pomni is slowly realising shes not alone in this mess. But of course, when Caine sent Gummy Goo away, my jaw dropped! Seeing Pomni straight up lose more of her sanity over losing what could've been a potential friend to relate to in this virtual hell was heartbreaking. They truly played with our emotions and reminded us this show is a psychological horror at the end of the day despite the colourful cheerful imagery. I love how much of an unhinged agent of chaos Jax is in this episode
I thought the episode was amazing, the have really stepped up with the animation! Pomni’s character development since episode 1 is great! Also, pomni and ragatha’s relationship is adorable 😭😭😭 (am I the only one who thinks they like each other??) Ngl, pomni being gummigo’s therapist is so funny, seeing as she’s the one who needs therapy. That scene was so cute, she was happy for once! All the new characters are really cool, the designs are totally unique! Also, pomni calling jax a poosay hole literally made my day. Now the fandom can shut up about “pomni x jax”. Overall, great episode! Now, I’m gonna go watch it for the 15th time!
@@thecrazygooseofyourdreams4785 remember, glitch didn’t say anything, and goose LOVES to troll the fandom, like when she said the glowing queen was the only one returning, or that the next episode would focus on jax, et cetera. (And if she was lying I’m honestly praying that the ship is canon 😭😭😭)

The thing is Ragatha is 34 while Pomni is 24 which would be very questionable especially since we don’t know how long ragatha’s been in the circus so she could be even older while pomni’s been in the circus for 2 days.
it's still weird not seeing pony finn doing this, but i like the character being used, also for ep 3, you should have some friends join in, like bliss and aeon
In the Murder Drones episodes the characters from that show appear in the Glitch logo so I don't think its so much imitating a movie studio logo than a tv broadcasting station "you're watching Amazing Digital circus".
Fun game for people who watch a lot of youtube reactions, take a drink of water every time Cain says "I'm gonna go drink some water, it's been a while since I've done that."
to be fair, you thin they'll signifiacntly change or developthe characterisation of the main cast in episode 2? especially given how Jax was introduced as a troublemaker?
Honestly, it was kinda what I expected for such a fallow up. Comedy, adventrue, existential dread, glitches, nightmares, the whole 9 yards. Plus fact that the creator said that Jax diserves to be here better then anyone else, then reinforcing that message by making him even more of a complete ass hole just tops it all of in it's own comidic way. He does drop the act in a blink-and-you'll miss it kind of way when they mention the funural, or it least it seems like it, but I don't doubt that he has been here long enough to bascially not care about anyone becasue has seen plenty others abstract already. "What's the point in caring if we can't leave, might as well enjoy being imortal while I still last."
As much as I can see the appeal of ADC, it feels like every time I'm like "Oh, hey, this is good", it kicks me square in the junk. Gummigoo was gunna be a nice support for Pomni after he discovers his life is a lie inside a game and that would give her someone to feel connected with and BOOM, confetti and streamers. And we're right back where the episode began, except there's a LITTLE bit of growth. This is like The Hot Ones of independent animation; one moment we're all having a good time and then BOOM, burning pain.... The worst part is I can't say if I like the show or not because we're at Episode 2, and I'd like to give a show a LITTLE more time before I say the show isn't for me. So yeah. Where's the milk? Is there milk? Is the milk a lie? You know, the worst thing is I know it's only to get darker and more depressing before we get any sort of actual answers. Stupid depression hot sauce; where's the milk?
I originally felt mixed about this, because...as a tabletop player and as someone who has experience roleplaying, your NPCs or characters can take on a life of their own if you don't keep them in check. It's a little bit like how AI is depicted getting self-aware. So, I didn't expect Gummigoo to stick around. But watching you go through it...makes the episode feel a little better. Like there was nuance I missed 'cause of my own mindset. I'm definitely subbing to your new channel, I love these character portraits.
The teapots are a reference to the Utah Teapot. An inside joke among devs and 3d modelers as it's often used as a rite of passage and was used in a few films and such. From what I recall.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but they had an opening specifically for Murder Drones. It was in its latest episode, and they did a different one for this series.
I personally would still prefer the pilot over the 2nd episode, but it was still a decently good follow-up to it. The jokes were fun and animation was nice as always, plus Gummigoo finding out he was an NPC was giving "Toy Story That Time Forgot" vibes for me. Not to mention that Pomni and Ragatha's characters were build up more, even if just a tiny bit. Though I still have a few issues with the episode, such as the pacing, once again Zooble being pushed to the side, not developing the main cast too much, and Gummigoo disappearing at the end right after his development since it makes the whole thing feel pointless. But overall, it was a good episode. Not my favorite for obvious reasons, but I can still appreciate it. 7/10.
I remember when shows could have an ep 2 and people not go "what? Where is the character progression?" Let the show cook personalities need to be established before they start changing for the viewers to see and people never like character regression but stuff in a game world where it's a set amount of people you interact with if you don't wanna interact with the Ai controlled NPCs which this ep shows could vary from the gloinx have no braincells to Gummiegoo where they could have a crisis of his own which also may be something a person needs is to help them out of a similar situation but yeah we see how that character progression is met with blocks because of an AI(Cain) dosnt understand what humans need or at least was programmed for short time fun not prolonged life, for him it needs to be a adventure or how else could they live? That's how he is programed he dosnt know any better also probably because he may be getting buggy now
@@TFoxhound I don't mean develop the characters as in "start their personally growth arcs immediately". I mean it more as them getting enough screen time to establish who they are and what they can do. We've already got that with mostly Jax, Ragatha, Pomni and even Caine (to some degree). I just want Kinger, Gangle, & Zooble to have similar treatment. I have enough patience for that to come in later episodes, but these are just my thoughts. Also I don't blame Caine for what he did to Gummigoo and how he doesn't understand. Am I still upset? Yes. But I'm also aware that he's not necessarily programmed for this type of stuff. A part of me wished it was handled differently, but I'm not the show runner and I can get used to what they choose to do.
This episode was exactly what I expected actually. Your prediction wasn't bad at all, I just felt like it didn't really match the vibe of the show. It was silly, had a bit of that backrooms-ish existential dread, and still managed to get emotional. I hope that the next episodes will mix things up a bit not to get repetitive, but in my opinion it was a great second episode. RIP gummy goo, our beloved
I really enjoyed this episode. We’re finally getting to see who Pomni is behind all the madness. She genuinely cares and wants to help people. Her realization that the other circus members genuinely care about her was really heartwarming. I only wish we’d gotten more of Ragatha’s little arc, but maybe that’ll come back later. Overall, a solid 4.5/5 episode!
2 things! 1 I love your videos your voice and scripted or none scripted content you are hilarious and still relaxing to listen to, like I could put on a video of yours that I've seen once or twice or ten times before in the background while I do some drawing and it is just perfection. 2 IDK what the tea pots are for in the in-between main map and outside the map where the npc assets are stored, what their significance is but when I first saw this I thought it might just be a thing from early 3d modeling like one of the beginning tasks a teach would give is just make a teapot as it is a simple enough shape but you still have to thing about the depth the overall shape and think in 3d not just 2d. I have no idea if that is a thing but it's just what I thought on my first watch of the episode
Hehehe, yeah, I was pretty surprised too with how spot-on you were with your Prediction Video, at least with some of the Stuff in the Beginning, while everything else ended being something else entirely. But i’d say that’s pretty understandable in more than one way in this case, since you and I am pretty sure all of us assumed and experienced this Episode would entirely take place entirely within the Area that the Adventure was supposed to take place and not having a moment to see the Dev Room of the Adventure, of course due to it being the Dev Room for the Adventure itself you could argue that it was still part of the Adventure in some way, but I am pretty sure non of us (Caine included) was expecting to see another “Pomni going through the Exit” Moment in this Episode. Honestly, that makes me wonder if there will be more Episodes where either Pomni or someone else gets Out of Bounds, if we will, while that would be interesting, i hope it won’t happen every Episode, since i would like to see a Episode where Pomni gets to be part of the Adventure all the way through, after all while she did actually partake in this Adventure, it was only in the Beginning Part, i would like to see how she handles an entire Adventure. By the way, did you notice how Jax was not featured amongst the Hands grabbing Pomni at the End? While it could just simply be due to Jax not joining the Funeral, i think it’s still worth keeping in mind, especially with consideration of what Gooseworx has said about Jax.
Also theory that Jax is an administrator makes sense with all the keys he has not to mention the longer the show goes on the it will turn Jax into a villain as it seems like he struck a deal with cane witch caused the second episode to even happen
If you do go more into your thoughts and possible meanings of the episode, please please please talk about Kinger's comment about remembering Ragatha adjusting to the world. Maybe this is just me looking too far into things since he's my favorite, but that was the most coherent comment we've gotten from him, however brief it may have been. My personal theory is that maybe something about Pomni arrival sparked something in him, jogged his memory maybe. There's no way to know for sure since I doubt you'll ever see things from before, but from how everyone else acts, Kinger being completely out of it is pretty standard for him. Only sometimes rambling somewhat more presently than usual, like the thing about the nutrition of digital food. But Ragatha seemed so shocked when he remembered that about her, even if he did immediately forget My guess is either it's just Pomni being a new face, something changing about their prison that did it, or maybe something about her reminds him of someone. Probably not Queenie, but maybe that previous jester. Either way it would be super interesting if Pomni is the reason he will eventually bring up Queenie. Either from completely remembering her or dredging the memories he's purposefully or subconsciously buried long before anyone present got there Also 'Does it count as vehicular manslaughter if my car fell from the sky and killed them' is my new favorite moral question
Hot take coming up: I think this episode is gonna be important later in the series, like maybe everyone will start getting mad at Cain and Pomni. For ether lying to everyone about ether having a new home were they don't feel useless, or Cain lying to them about the exit or who they are as just a none player character. I don't know, I just feel like there are going to be more episodes like this but only to build up to a proper conclusion later on.

Right, right, right, I see your point. But consider: If they kept Gummigoo around, and Caine eventually rotated back to Candy Kingdom, how do you think the Gummigoo asset will react seeing another him?
So, my thoughts, free of charge. This episode focused on developing Pomni a bit more. This gives her time to adjust to the circus, and encourages her to interact more with the main cast. Do I see DND/TTRPG parallels? Yes, yes I do. Sometimes with a shy or easily overwhelmed player, the GM can use NPCs to get them used to RPing their character, then slowly wean their dependence on the NPC. Or pull a Caine and brutally murder them as a way to keep the player with the group more.
this was an amazing video and fun fact about that teapot it is a very famous thing being 3d graphic artists reference object and it was the fromed in the year of 1975 by martin newell.
I feel like this episode is ment to establish Pomni's character and how she fits in the dynamics of their adventures also show us that after Day 1 Day 2 she finally accepts that she is trapped in the game and she has people that will be by her side and remember her as she will remember them, also showing how everyones dynamics again and well Zooble skipping an adventures makes sense due to ep 1 where it sounds like its optional untill its a inhouse adventure
I think that the episode is interesting when it comes to the rules of the universe. I understand why Caine makes so many npcs mannequins or figurines due to losing track of who is who. Maybe it helps that they don't have faces. I liked it in whole. The comments spoiled the Gumigoo twist, but I had a good time regardless.
The Gummygoo part is too good. It is for the development of Pomni. The writing surprised me. So far the best thing that indie animation has come out in terms of writing
It's funny and kind of sad that some people on the live chat during episode 2's premiere were already shipping (or at least friendshipping) Pomni with Gummigoo, and then Gummigoo freaking dies.
Will I mean it could be like amethyst from Steven universe were he doesn’t NEED to eat but may are may not like (the feeling of) it anyway 13:56 to 14:03
I feel like Pomni should have considered early on that everyone are capable to empathize with her and understand her, hopefully she'll be remorseful for what she has done.
I feel like Jax is either going to abstract because he's growing bored with a lack of chaos, or he's going to change for the better. Either way, he might team up with Kaufmo and destroy the Digital Circus later on....

personally i would love for this to happend beacause then it would be a lot of happy gangle and posyblly jax can get beaten up for him being a fucking MANECE TO THE CIRCUS
I think the teapots are a reference to the Utah Teapot, used as a standard reference and in-joke in the animation community.
4:49 OH MY DOG YES THE IMPRACTICAL JOKERS REFERENCE AAAAAAADHDHHDGDH
You’re the first person to catch that The Fudge was basically a combination of The Greed from the Raggedy Ann Movie and The Great Mighty Poo from Conker. No one’s mentioned the former that I’ve seen yet(I would have, but uh, long story)
Honestly, I can overlook Caine killing-off GummyGoo since Caine is and A.I and doesn't have a complete grasp on human emotions. Jax however has absolutely no excuse! Frankly I hope he gets put through the ringer in a future episode and the consequences of all his actions come back to bite him!
Same.
4:50 oh good lord the impractical jokers reference 😂😂😂
Don’t know why, but my fellow god, Caine, is my favorite character.
I can tell there is a lot of potential in this show. The second episode wasn't perfect but it was a pretty solid episode. I can't wait for more.
I Heckin LOVE Your avatar
If i Remember correctly gooseworks as said that there will be no shipping in the actual show
@@thecrazygooseofyourdreams4785 remember, glitch didn’t say anything, and goose LOVES to troll the fandom, like when she said the glowing queen was the only one returning, or that the next episode would focus on jax, et cetera. (And if she was lying I’m honestly praying that the ship is canon 😭😭😭)
@@Wild_Wisper yea goose could be trolling and honestly i feel like they have a more big sister(or mother)/younger sister(or daughter) vibe but I don't mind the ship
@@thecrazygooseofyourdreams4785 true, but either way, they’re so cute!
Ragatha: Look Pomni. We’re already friends with the princess
Pomni: I’m not a child. You don’t have to hype me up.
It’s not even been 2 days and the second episode is glitch’s 4 most viewed video only behind the pilot, pomni wake up, and the md pilot.
to be fair, you thin they'll signifiacntly change or developthe characterisation of the main cast in episode 2? especially given how Jax was introduced as a troublemaker?
Thank you for bringing up the raggedy Anne and Andy Candy Monster! That really took me back!
11:45 the Utah Teapot, a Teapot was the first thing successful made in 3D CG at the University of Utah.
I can confirm
🎉
I can confirm 🎉
WHY CAN HE DO A PERFECT CAINE IMPRESSION 😭😭😭❤️
I don’t know if you know this but during the scene with pomni stretching the main animator got a bachelor’s degree
I was surprised it was just as predicted but it was nice! Glad you enjoyed it!
:)
I was also surprised it was just as predicted, but it was nice!
:)
14:22 Uhh… what? Did I miss a video or… what? U know what, just going to pretend I didn’t hear that.
I don’t know about you guys, but some of Finn’s jokes actually made me laugh 😆
Honestly, that makes me wonder if there will be more Episodes where either Pomni or someone else gets Out of Bounds,
if we will, while that would be interesting, i hope it won’t happen every Episode, since i would like to see a Episode where Pomni gets to be part of the Adventure all the way through, after all while she did actually partake in this Adventure, it was only in the Beginning Part, i would like to see how she handles an entire Adventure.
13:21 is literally me every time a favorite character of mines gets Thanos clapped before the episode ends (Gummigoo being one of them)
The teapots are a lighting rendering thing
I physically need more of these, so funny🤣
14:17 Hope Finn noticed Jax's sad expression for a brief second
You are objectively right, Ragatha is best girl.
I’ve heard all the Tea Pots are a reference to
Tea Pots being a good model for testing lighting.
I personally liked the end because it's very heartwarming
But Ragatha seemed so shocked when he remembered that about her, even if he did immediately forget
My guess is either it's just Pomni being a new face, something changing about their prison that did it, or maybe something about her reminds him of someone. Probably not Queenie, but maybe that previous jester.
Either way it would be super interesting if Pomni is the reason he will eventually bring up Queenie. Either from completely remembering her or dredging the memories he's purposefully or subconsciously buried long before anyone present got there
Also 'Does it count as vehicular manslaughter if my car fell from the sky and killed them' is my new favorite moral question
5:35
My theory is that whatever Bubblessaid wasn't cursing but something else 🤔
1:48
"Well EXCUSE you Jax! everyone remembers- XDDCC!!!!!!" 😠
I think near the end when kinger was talking with ragatha that was pretty interesting
Your Caine impression is great.
5:34 Thank you!! I was wondering. I had it in my brain, but I couldn't place it
My god that tea pot joke I'm in stitchs why didn't I think of that one LOL.😅😅😅
You are actually right about a lot of things in the episode
Hot take coming up: I think this episode is gonna be important later in the series, like maybe everyone will start getting mad at Cain and Pomni. For ether lying to everyone about ether having a new home were they don't feel useless, or Cain lying to them about the exit or who they are as just a none player character. I don't know, I just feel like there are going to be more episodes like this but only to build up to a proper conclusion later on.
Love the new avatar you're using for this 😊
Hey! Fin! Glad to see you enjoying TADC!
1:53 I'm glad I wasn't the only one to make the Toy Story 2 reference
2:57 DAYMN, BUBBLE! I love whipped cream as much as the next guy, but even I wouldnt go *THAT* far!
5:44 FINN! NOT YOU TOO!
7:48 OH HEY! Another TS2 reference
10:50 1. OOOF, Zooble burn. 2. Yeeeeahhhhhh, about thaaaaat.... 👉👈
12:14 Jax: My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
12:54 Willy Wonka: This is called being a murder hobo, my dear children, and is in fact frowned upon in most societies.
Right, right, right, I see your point. But consider:
If they kept Gummigoo around, and Caine eventually rotated back to Candy Kingdom, how do you think the Gummigoo asset will react seeing another him?
What they did to Gummigoo was dirty, first they give him an existential crisis then Thanos snap him away
The glitch intro changes characters depending on the show, its not an all encompassing intro
I feel like this episode is ment to establish Pomni's character and how she fits in the dynamics of their adventures also show us that after Day 1 Day 2 she finally accepts that she is trapped in the game and she has people that will be by her side and remember her as she will remember them, also showing how everyones dynamics again and well Zooble skipping an adventures makes sense due to ep 1 where it sounds like its optional untill its a inhouse adventure
i hope we'll eventually get a "bottle episode", where Zooble is the main focus.
3:46
That happened in Scary Movie 2 (2000).
Your reactions were really funny 😂
Well done Finny.
And this is why the fanbase has declared war on Caine.
I'll grab pitchfork and torch, wait for me
It's funny and kind of sad that some people on the live chat during episode 2's premiere were already shipping (or at least friendshipping) Pomni with Gummigoo,
and then Gummigoo freaking dies.
Oh yeah! That fire thing didn't even happen! XD
8:35 "we just met this guy I don't feel like connected to this guy or anything" he's gonna eat those words isn't he
Edit: 13:17 yeah
So, "Caine blows bubbles" confirmed?
(I stand by my claim and I will die by it)
Will I mean it could be like amethyst from Steven universe were he doesn’t NEED to eat but may are may not like (the feeling of) it anyway 13:56 to 14:03
You are the Steven to Jax Horner over here
I feel like Pomni should have considered early on that everyone are capable to empathize with her and understand her, hopefully she'll be remorseful for what she has done.
I feel like Jax is either going to abstract because he's growing bored with a lack of chaos, or he's going to change for the better. Either way, he might team up with Kaufmo and destroy the Digital Circus later on....
Honestly I like your idea better. But it was still a good episode. (I will admit caine killing gummy gu was kind of funny to me. I like dark humor)
I want to see the whole reaction
Ok but there is a gangle plus, now every thing is right with the world
11:39 yes it’s very important to game development
