Thanks Paula. Love this video! I'm always looking for more economical ways to grow orchids, and this certainly fits that bill. Going to try this with my Bl Yellow Bird (by far the easiest orchid I've ever grown) which needs an up-pot come spring. So glad it's working for you and will hopefully with me. Sharing this.
    Happy New Year! ❤

You could always cut it with leca or perlite if you need to. If the cattleya had a problem with it the root tip would have def turned black before now... but it didnt!! She likes it! 🎉

@alanm9523 Hey hon that's so true! I didn't have perlite or charcoal when I potted these. I only recently got them back in. Lost my sponsor so I had to replace it when I had the money. 😁 I think I'd like to try it with some perlite and charcoal on some different cattleya. That would be so neat to try. That would make it more airy. 😁 Hope you have a wonderful weekend 🤗 🌹 🩷 💚

Good morning Miss Paula. Interesting subject. I’ve never used it. But you never know. Well Christmas has come and gone. Marching on to 2025. Time sure does fly. You have a blessed day. Hugs sis🫂🥰

@shirleyholt898 Hey sweetie Miss Shirley 👋 The Cattleya seem to really respond to it! So I'm pleased with it on them so far.
Your right it's flying by! '25 is right around the corner! Seems weird! 😂 Hope you have a wonderful weekend sis 🤗🌹🩷💚

Phals and Zygos hated it. Catts, Dens, Phrags, Paphs and Cymbidiums love it. (the latter 3 it is necessary to keep a water saucer under them to keep it constantly moist)

Interesting results. Good to know that Zygos don't seem to like it. That way I won't try it. Thanks for trying it out and updating us. Hope you have a Happy New Year!

@krisschmitz2167 Hey hon I got mine at Lowes. It's called Garden Pro by gem. I know the lowes can have various brands. Just ask them for plan nontreated Cypress mulch. You can get it at home depot too. Hope that helps. Have a wonderful weekend 🤗🌹🩷💚
