Anyone else feel that watching a JANGBRICKS review is almost as entertaining as actually getting the set.
His videos have saved me hundreds of dollars from buying absolute trash sets.

I loved this vehicle in the movie, and it was always going to be hard to translate into LEGO and do it justice. There's so much they did right, but it's a shocker for value! Maybe worth picking up when it's 20% off imo.
I am finding the latest wave of Star Wars Lego a bit lacklustre. I was very happy with the TIE fighter but, this year, I am not worried about how to finance purchasing the sets I want.
I have the one I really wanted and I would like the x-wing but this set does nothing for me.

At the star wars sets recently have all had really bad pricing
I’m sorry but this is a joke for £80. What are they thinking? £40 maximum for me. Either reduce cost or they could have made it a bigger set with 2 of each upper and lower parts of the train plus a suggestion of a rail for £100. Add Val and Beckett...
I really like how the recent _Star Wars_ lines have been introducing more and more gunmetal pieces i.e. blasters and minifigures.
The price for this is insanely high! Jang usually uses a rough "volume of stuff" metric, and by that metric you only get around $50 worth of stuff here, tops.
I understand that lately LEGO and it's licensees have made LEGO sets smaller like this one to cut costs and increase number of units to sell. Yet as a single set would be great to have the whole thing in, especially considering the near $200 at MSRP to combine 2 or more of these sets to get more cars hooked up. If the set was cut down for much easier access, say this was a little smaller and closer to a $60 set range, that would make sense like in the Mos Eisley from earlier this year. But otherwise combining multiple copies of this and other sets for the full effect is out of most consumers' budgets so the likelihood of selling more units is slim.

Maybe it only includes 2 cars to promote buying another copy to make the full train? Could make sense since the head doubles as the back.

I got excited for all the new legos (especially the star wars ones because I am obsessed with the lego imperial vehicles and minifigs) but I was only able to find 1 xwing and three of this train.
The x wing Im thankful for because its my first original trilogy x wing and the train looks awesome with multiple cars.
Buy a second set and connect them back to back making the train having two cars and an engine on both sides
I made a pretty cool little Track and cliffside display for my Conveyex, AT-Hauler and Swoop Bike sets!
Idk $90 is a tough bite, and it definitely should have included another car, but it is a pretty nice set and the range troopers look very cool

I think u really need two swoop bike sets, two of the conveyex hauler sets and one AT hauler set to create a realistic scene

This has to be one of the most over-priced LEGO sets ever. The price of LEGO is general is getting a little bit inhibitive. I can't see many kids wanting to spend much on LEGO any more. You get so little for your money.
you could buy 5 or 6 or 7 of this set and make a long train. with all the money no one has...
I mean I love the figures (especially the range troopers as Jang said) but, like the AT Hauler it is still really pricey and I think it just looks a bit boring! 😲
This should’ve had another train car for the price. 622 pieces for $99 is absolutely ridiculous, especially when at least 50 of those pieces are small little tracks.
It's 89, but I agree. The Anakin's jedi starfighter is a fantastic deal, especially compared to the other sets from this wave.

Hm ... as with the AT-Hauler, the thing i like the most about this set are the minifigs. Probably gonna wait till both are on sale somewhere before i get them ... and i agree, there should be at least one other car to the train (or you need two sets to make it an actual train). And honestly, considering the price ... the inclusion of another car should be easily doable while still yielding profit ...
What would have made more sense, was to include a train car in the AT-Hauler rather than the container

This set reminds me of the Ord Mantell hover train level in Shadows of the Empire.
You could put this in the area under your city (I forget what its called) on a monorail. Would fit with the theme of the whole "cyber-punk" too.

Yep. 90 $ are too much. Bought it for 60 and that's fine
90 € is ok if there are 2 more freight cars. But in this model I would pay 50-60$
luca pompili This is always a problem for trains that are not the big city set ones. Often having not enough parts to make it look more like it does in the film. Same can be said for the Harry Potter one. Both of these two just don’t have enough carriages sadly.
I like the set design a lot, but for the price it should’ve had two cars instead of one.

I like the 2 identical minifigures and the imperial gunner minifigure if I want a lot of each minifig im going to need to buy a while bunch of the sets and if you want the set to be considered a train just buy another one then build the cargo car
nailgut 101 they should have added Beckett, more train cars and at least 2 more range troopers. Possibly one or more of these drones. I thunk most of us wouldn’t mind paying 140€ for such a more expanded set

I don’t understand why LEGO continues to use clone angry face why not use the death start faces or use the same rebels faces because stormtroopers are regular people and clones are just clones of jango fett.
6:52 best reason to buy two then ;) Or for kids to build their own addition to the set. I see what you are saying of course, but I think some "cheaper" sets are also needed to get young kids and teenager into it.

Probably would be best to get two of this set. Two cargo cars and a locomotive on the front and back. Two extra Range Troopers too. Only problem would be two each of Han and Chewie.

So you would need about 4 of this set in total to get something that looks close to what we see in the movie. That would cost around £320!
These sets are way too over priced. 90 bucks for this is too much!

Is it me or does the scene where this train is robbed look very similar to Firefly's "The Train Job" episode?
My very first thought when I saw this set was, "They want you to buy two and connect them" just like the LOTR Black Gate. Not a bad decision because to double the size of this, and subsequently the price, would leave a lot of people in the lurch who want it but can't afford it. That said, the current price leaves me in the lurch to buy one of these. :(

This would have been really good if lego made a new version of the monorail. Add a rear car/engine and bam you have a good 200$ set.

This needs more cars and figures (pilot and one more RT), both can be fixed later but I am aiming to get the trip in one shot (Enfys Nest and the Hauler plus this).

I like the set, pretty cool. Should have added some more cars or another side of the transport like in the trailers / movie. If I'd want this, I'd wait for it to go on sale.
Good looking set, the figures look good though wish it could be motorised and is longer as a train, and finally able to fit on normal train tracks so it could be used on layouts
Usually I can see the reason for a high price per piece(like last year's bomber that had many features and large pieces), but for this one I can't
Love those Range Trooper minifigs. I'm kind of suprised to see them not reusing the Shoretrooper/Tank Driver helmet, considering the visual similarity between these three. I'm quite happy with this since the Shoretrooper minifig helmet looked rather ugly to me because of the not-very-accurate mold they used and the "mouth" print I personally didn't like very much though. Anyway, I wonder if they will release these minifigs, especially the new Range Trooper in a battlepack. It would suck alot if they remain exclusive to this or one more of a big set like the Shoretrooper.
Also, the train looks pretty cool too. This and the Swoop remind me alot of the vehicles from the n64 Shadows of the Empire. Very EU-ish, if you will.
Stud shooters aren't that bad in battle packs, but I'm not a fan at all of seeing them in expensive sets such as this

Great scene and great set! Well apart from the price that is, for that kind of money a second train car should have been included.
As for the review, I think you spent too little time on the actual train - just 1/3 of the video - and too much on play features/integration with other sets. Would have been nice to get a close up of the front/back of the train car and the back of the locomotive.
There should have been 2 train cars for this to be a better set and worth the high price. The figures are excellent though.
