I want to thank you, Ms. Guo, for offering this type of content - explaining what is going on without jargon or talking down to the audience. Way back I was one of the legions of high school cellists who were at the level of starting to learn a piece like this.
Of course, I was never any way your level of performer. But to me it was particularly impressive how you were able to both explain what was going on while playing at that high a level. And thank you for the honesty about getting into music. I know that I didn’t have the drive to do it myself - and my hat is off to those of you who do.
As a side note, I am scared what your junk cellos use for glue if they survive that treatment…

I’m so thankful for your live performances since you’re so skilled in your musicianship that you use to make pieces sound so alluring w/ your signature sound. Such a good history point that being a musician has always been a business including when Baroque emerged. As a guitarist who loves film scores/film composers I use to influence my originals for bk trailers, I so relate to your thoughts that film music allows for more freedom and expanding music instead of always copying so you're so right film music is like the new classical. Much love!

All of my guitars have names (Vlad, Ramses, Nero, Dominique, Rebecca, and Branwynn), and I think of them as having been born, rather than made. Thank you for this beautiful expressin of one of my favorite Romantic composers, Saint-Saens .
