This is by far my favorite Predator figure that NECA has done. The amount of creativity and effort put into the both the sculpt and the lore is so sick. And yes, a movie based on this lore or the Pirate Predator from 1718 should be the next entry for sure!

This is definitely one of the coolest Predators ever. It reminds me a lot of the old McFarlane Toys Curse of the Spawn figure from 1998. The bone armor and weapons are very reminiscent of that figure. Great review!
Just plain AWESOME!!!!! The "BOING!!!" sound effect when showing the original Jan Claude Vann Damme creature was *HILARIOUS!* Also liked the flat black nails which looked like a Predator's.
Kevin Peter Hall was such a wonderful actor. I loved seeing him in Night Court playing a gentle giant mental patient in a group of people that are in the courtroom one night. R.I.P
These figures have a huge amount of details these days, very impressive! I'm not into Predator, but those who are will have a field day with those figures!

BBTS is my jam. I order from them weekly. That Predator looks so sick but I heard he's very fragile. My next Predator is the Mezco One 12 version. You can get that on BBTS too. Great vid Laura!
NECA mostly gives bang for buck in sculpt, paint, and accessories. Articulation gives enough posability. They aren’t toys but posable collectibles. This is a great piece.
Laura PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how you get the mask to stay on him! The yellow paint on the eyes is chipping because if falls off so much! I prefer the “head swap “ Yautjas.
Fun fact Peter Cullen of Optimus Prime fame is the sound and voice of the original Predator. There's a RUclips video about how he came up with the voice and sounds. He's awesome. And that original predator concept was also used in the movie Predators by Robert Rodriguez. It's the one who chases Topher Grace and is is killed by Lawrence Fishburne. They used the original design.
Looks like the two bone arm covers make up the head and jaw of the original trophy. Steve Wang sculpted the dragon skull which never made it to the film, the design was later made into a halloween mask.
Mine has a mark or paint on it's right thigh so I sent it back to Amazon and requested a replacement Hopefully everything goes right and the replacement doesn't have any issues wish me luck
First Neca predators I got were cracked tusk, scavage and jungle hunter. My favorite was scavage he was a cross between both super Predator, and yautja. He was a loner, but he worked with cracked tusk.

Laura u need more neca lol.. when they showed him at 2019 sdcc he was to be a 18in which would of been amazing .. another old good one is the MacFarlane elder predator.. damn I'm glad u opened it I wanna open mine now! This. The mutiny interrupted by a predator is a winning concept. The mutual respect and the link to predator 2 will be remarkable to see on film.
