I'm 62 and the Warning has changed my life. I had stagnated for over 25 years artistically until I got inspired by these girls. It got me back to painting, drawing, doing covers that really got my channel going as well as doing reactions and working more on my own music. I even learned and did my first sculpture of Ale (video on site if you are interested). As far as suggestions, for pure awesome vocal performance, Hell You Call a Dream is amazing and 23 really showcases Pau's vocals. Both from The Pepsi Center vids. Thanks for the video

Pau's 23 at Teatro showed her total range because at Pepsi Center she had to skip the high pitched finale as a sore throat didn't allow her to reach those notes.
I am 57. These girls have rejuvenated my interest in rock after a hiatus of 3 decades. They even made me watch MTV last year.

59 here, disheartened by most modern music, and then these girls pop up on my radar. I'm a big Rush fan and I'm not saying they are as good as Rush, but I might say that they are better than Rush at the same ages. These girls are very young still and it's easy to overlook that fact with their talent. I hope The Warning is around for another 5 decades like Rush was and develop similarly.

Talking about Pau singing, you should see these performances:
-"Dust to Dust", "23" lead vocals by Pau while playing drums.
-"Survive", "Disciples" Pau shares lead vocals duties ith Dany.
    - "Creep" (Radiohead cover), "Black Hole", "Breath" Pau singing while playing piano. I always cry watching " Breath". That's how soulful Pau's singing is.

Christi, I am thrilled you have learned about The Warning. They have become my all time favorite rock band and I have seen them live 5 times. All 3 sisters are rock prodigies and just finished their tour promoting their 4th album, at age 24, 22 and 19. I LOVE every song they have created. The Warning has a lot in common with Angelina Jordan, as each are family oriented and celebrating 10 years as performers. Both are signed on labels under UMG. The Warning are the first Mexican rock band to be signed to an American record label. I look forward to Angelina singing a song with The Warning.

@@JesusRamirez-cg5kh The reason Creep cover is usually recommended is because the Pau simps feel the need to highlight Pau to new fans. all they care about is making sure Pau is highlighted and they want the new reactor to start focusing on Pau right away. just look at the comments and you will notice a trend for next recommendations mostly making Pau the focus instead of the best from the band.
There is no reason to go to individual performance from and of the 3 band members at the start other then simping for that band member... individual performances are a go to after you have done tons of band reactions and you want to dive dipper into the rabbit hole.

      @JesusRamirez-cg5kh Месяц назад

@@awadoma2702 I agree. They always focused on Paulina. Leaving the other 2 sisters in the dark. The warning is the 3 sisters. A lot of these couch reactors only react from one song of a band and never react again to the other songs, because they got too many singers to react to. So by recommending covers they think it's just a cover band, and move on to the next singer.

Ellen invited them to her show (they played Ozzy's "Crazy Train", being interviewed, and received 30k usd for them to attend summer class in the prestigious Berklee.
Their personalities are interesting too. Dany is the extrovert, warm, and goofy. Pau is the brilliant, passionate, attitude, and talkative. Ale is the introvert but she's the anchor for her 2 older sisters. Watch 2x interviews with Allison Hagendorff (each about 1 hour) and you'll see how fun they are.

The bassist, Ale (pronounced AH-leh… closer to AH-lay), has perfect pitch (both a blessing and a curse for her and for her sisters). They all were tested for rhythm and tempo accuracy and Ale had the best rhythm of the three. Pau calls Ale a machine because of how gifted and accurate she is. Ale also is recognized by her sisters as being the most picky by fat of the three, calling out herself and her sisters on every little error until they are as close to flawless as possible.

My primary instrument is classical violin and I’m also a professional electric bassist, guitarist, and a rock vocalist and drummer. I was initially trained as a pianist. Ale, only 17 at the Teatro Metropólitan "Enter Sandman" performance, is a world-class Jazz Bassist playing Rock. Listen closely to Ale's remarkable playing and you'll hear the influence of legendary Bassist Jaco Pastorius, considered the greatest Bass player of all time, as Ale plays both the Bass-line and Melody-line; seamlessly switching between the 2. There's a video of Ale playing Jaco's legendary, incredibly difficult, "Donna Lee" at 12. Ale wasn't trying to play it; she just played it. In a September interview with "Guitar World" Ale stated Jaco is her greatest musical inspiration. Ale started playing Jaco's entire catalog at 9 (mind-bending). (Spector Bass recognized Ale was a Prodigy and named her the youngest Spector Signature Bassist ever at 15).

Hi Christi, the tiny little bassist Ale has been likened to a human metronome. She keeps her older sisters in time. She has been said to give them a ‘dirty look’ if they are off a bit. She is now affectionately called the ‘Thunder Goddess’ by fans, shaking the foundations of arenas. The drummer Pau (POW!), DRUMEO’s Best Rock Drummer of 2023 is also an outstanding lead singer, that other bands have invited her to sing lead with their songs. Dany, the eldest, her vocal range is currently unknown as she keeps raising the bar. Her vocal and guitar skills recognized by her peers that she’s invited by veteran bands to either sing lead or play guitars with them during live performances. She has been gifted with specially made guitars by Matt Bellamy of Muse and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm. That’s Lzzy’s gift Dany is playing with the later Enter Sandman. They have looked back on their classical training as the latest rendition of Enter Sandman at the Pepsi Center includes the string section of an orchestra! Check out the official music video to see Alessia Cara and The Warning do the original reworking of Enter Sandman.

  • @Capfka

You said "learning their instruments". Yes, they may not have had a lot of experience, but watching Ale playing the bass it was obvious that she was not learning to play Enter Sandman. She had it down pat. She wasn't watching her left hand much at all. Pau made a couple of minor blues but hit the drums as if they owed her money. And Dany was really good doing the guitar and vocals. Pau calls Ale a "human metronome" and the click track is optional for the group. They will have learned heaps since then, but they were well on the way, even though stage presence was well in the future. But I'm glad you did this comparison!

I already left comments to comments here. I just wanted to remind myself and everyone else that there was another band of the same age that kinda rocked the world. This band I'm talking about was 4 young boys who had a special gift for writing songs. They were just teenagers, yet they took the world by storm. Gee, guess who I'm talking about? (Hint: They were from Liverpool).

This is a great way to be introduced to The Warning. I love this version of Sandman from Teatro but the one from Pepsi Center (sold out, 8,000 capacity, largest headlining show to date) includes a live string section that is not to be missed.

Great reaction. I see The Warning Army is arriving in your comment section. Be prepared, there are 1000's of us. You have no idea how much fun you are going to have going down this rabbit hole. Not only are these talented young ladies fantastic musicians, singers, songwriters, and performers, they are even better people. Down to earth, humble, sweet good Catholic girls that have no problem kicking your teeth in with their wall of sound. Go to their RUclips channel and pick a song. Any song. You won't be diappointed. They seriously don't have a bad one. I suggest Evolve, from their MTV VMA performece. Strap in and don't forget to turn it up. As all Warning fans say, "You have been Warned!"

Great reaction. “You've Been Warned”. Welcome to the Warning Black Hole. They are like an addicting drug. Watch your views triple when you react to The Warning. I'm 75 now and a rock fan my entire life. These girls have evolved into what I now consider to be my favorite band of all time. I haven't been this obsessed with a band since 1964. Do I have to tell you who that was?

Their Pepsi Center CDMX (10/2023) is available in its entirety 20 songs, 1 short segment of The Warning talking about their band's journey and 2 encores. In this concert they do something slightly different with Enter Sandman! In September 2023, Paulina Villarreal was voted number one by readers of Modern Drummer in the "Up and Coming" category. Drumeo presented her the Rock Drummer of the Year award in February 2024. On November 14th they are entered for a Latin Grammy for their song 'Que Mas Quires' (What else do you want?).

The Warning have one of the best backstories. They did the video for their grandmother and it went viral but leading up to that Dani & Pau were taught classical piano. They both loved the game rock band and would play it all the time. Ale would watch as she was very young. After the video went viral they got invited to play on the Ellen show. She awarded them $25k in scholarship and got them a summer stay at Berkley Music College in Boston. While their the creators of Rock Band invited them over to the company to see the new release Rock Band 4 and surprised them with one of their songs in the game. Then Metallica asked them to take Enter Sandman and do a cover but make it their own.

Aloha Christi Bovee and welcome to The Warning! Very nice reaction to The Warning! I've been following them since the COVID days, and I know that all the recommendations you are receiving are great for other songs you should watch next. But I would like to invite you to check out The Warning's documentaries: TIDAL Rising - The Warning; and MayDay In The Making, episodes 1-6; these will provide you a look into their musical history and their personalities in their own words and those of their family and team members! These videos are a bit old, so if you want to know more up to date info, please watch the 2 Allison Hagendorf interviews as Ms. Allison is a very good interviewer and elicits great responses from these talented ladies. Enjoy! #APDVillaReality
