Your journals are beautiful.
Thank you.
I am new to your site.🎶🎶🐦🌼🌻
Thanks for watching and your lovely comment 💛 welcome to my little channel 🌼
Beautiful. I love how you attached the spine to covers. I need to try that because I can't seem to make a small "quiet" journal. Mine is explosive and this would work nicely to make writing easier. These are so pretty.
Thank you so much Patricia 🥰
Oh wow I love love these gorgeous journals 💖🌸 your such an inspiration 🙌
Thank you so much Karen 💞☺
Oh Kylie, these Grannies journals are so pretty! Love them. 😊💕
Thank you for your kind words 🥰
Your journals are so beautiful!!! Love all of them. Would you tell me how many signatures you have in the journals? Thank you for sharing your gorgeous journals. 💖
Thank you for watching and your lovely comment Cathy 🥰 these journals had 4 signatures each 😅
Hi. Thank you, for sharing your beautiful journals. Can you please list your video on how to do these covers. I would really like to see more of your fabulous covers. 😍 😊
Thank you for your kind words 🤗 sorry I don't have a tutorial on how I did the cover, it was the first time I made covers that way 💛🌼
Wow 👏 😮 first time...unbelievable. They are so beautiful and lovely 😍 I hope that you change your mind and do at least one more for a video. Simply gorgeous.
@@m.milagrospastorizacolon3448 one day I would like to film craft videos where I just craft without explaining everything 🌼💛
@@paperdaisyjournals That sounds like a good project. 💡 But until you said that, I had not thought that. It must be hard to just talk out loud with no feed back for you. Is it difficult for you? You do come across so natural. 😊
@@m.milagrospastorizacolon3448 I was a Primary school teacher for 15 years so talking to a lot of people without a response is quite normal 🤣 I will start doing videos of me crafting, so you can see what I do, but as soon as you call it a tutorial it gets complicated because people want everything explained and to me that is boring 😆💛
I would like to know how to purchase one! They are beautiful! Absolutely love the heart. ❤
Thank you so much Lori ☺️ I sell my journals in my etsy shop PaperDaisyJournals. I try to have an update at the end of each month 🌼
Beautiful work. Just lovely. I have a question. One of the papers, a tan one - is it called Lobster paper?? What is it? Thank you.
It is called Lokta Paper 😆 sorry about that, you aren't the first person to ask if I said lobster. Lokta Paper is a type of handmade paper from Nepal and it feels wonderful and soft, but it is also very strong 💛🌼
Question? What did you use as your base for the cover . What you sewed the material to? This is so beautiful 💕💕💕. Great inspiration!
Hi Dolly, thanks for asking 💛 I lightly glued and then slow stitched the patches of fabric to a piece of linen/cotton blend (because it is a bit thicker) then machine stitched around the edge onto light card stock 🤗🌼
My grandkids call me Nonny. It is from Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing”.
Nonny is lovely 🥰
How beautiful! I hope to have one of your journals someday. Is this bookbinding easy to do? I would like to try...
Thank you so much 💝 it is fairly easy, just threading string through a bead, only difficulty is forgetting the bead 🤣
@@paperdaisyjournals, my doubt is about the sewing. How to sew the signatures? Please, make a tutorial!
@@claab2991 I'm not sure my messy version would be helpful 😆 I use a three hole pamphlet stitch and there are tutorials on this already 🌼💛
@@paperdaisyjournals , ok! Thanks anyway!
So beautiful...and already sold. Congratulations on your efforts and the sales. Is there any way I can find out the price...a girl can dream🇭🇲
Thank you for watching and your inquiry 🤗 I usually time the RUclips upload with my shop update, but this time filming didn't go according to plan. Best to follow me on Instagram @paperdaisyjournals I regularly post progress photos and when things are in my shop 🌼 these journal sold for $250 AUD each.
Thank you for responding to my enquiry. You've motivated me to get familiar with Instagram! Am in awe of your work... thank you for sharing. (From Tassie🇭🇲)
@@ameliarowe2459 no worries, happy to oblige ☺
Hi Kylie, can u tell me where u got your original library cards from please??
I purchased them from an Australian etsy shop a few years ago (most of my things come from etsy shops, I don't really go thrifting) and I can't remember the shop sorry 😅 maybe search in Etsy for "vintage library cards"
Can you glue lace on paper or can I do it different want to save the lace paper clips or Velcro
You can glue lace to paper, but I recommend using a small amount and dab the excess before it dries. Other ways include, hand stitching, machine stitching and using a stapler 🤗💛
My granddaughter calls me "Ouma" x Blessings x Mariana UK xx
How wonderful ❤ I called my maternal grandmother Oma, she was Austrian/German ☺
As far as i know Meemah is slang for grandma in the USA. Anyone can correct me if i am wrong. My motjer is called Great Nana and i am called nana
In past videos, the first several times I heard you say “Lokta paper” I thought you were saying “Lobster paper”🦞 hahahaha. Then, I slowed you down (not that you talk fast, rather, I have slow ears!) and heard “Lokta” which I promptly looked up and -- voila -- mystery solved!!!
Thank you Lori, I had a good laugh at this confusion, I can totally understand how it happened 🤣🦞 Lokta paper has a beautiful soft texture. Another paper I like to use is decorative Italian paper (wrapping paper) 📜
@@paperdaisyjournals hahah Yes, I ordered some Lokta paper from a shop on Etsy and have received it - it’s lovely. I also am a regular user of Italian paper…. Keep making!!!
