Wow, this is great! I just bought a bass viola da gamba (I've played cello and guitar (etc.) before ) and found out how hard, but yet "impressive" instrument it is. Your instrument seems to be top, but so are you. Thanks for this, Olli

@fiandrhi the end pin thats on modern cellos and basses was invented long after the viola da gamba family fell out of favor to the modern violin family. Early cellist didn't use end pins either.
