Turns out LaGanja’s choreo was the marathon Trixie was prepping for all along
LaGanja's choreography was what made Trixie's appendix decide it didn't want to be part of the production.
@@sarahk2722 ⚰⚰⚰⚰
Omg...too funny
@@sarahk2722 lmao i want Trixie to see this
Laganja’s choreo broke trixie’s appendix
My favourite part about this is the decision to cast two dancers who have to be at least 6'4" to truly emphasise what a petite and slender woman Trixie is. It's the attention to detail that really makes her a star!
What do you mean ? Aren’t they 5’4”?
YES!! I was JUST thinking that. Pretty smart on their part
@its the sound of da police don't forget about heels and a wig that adds quite a bit
I was just thinking about that lol
Hahaha someone’s listening to the podcast 😂
I want a re-release of this where they change nothing except Trixie sings it in her Swedish accent. The mono pink background fits.
It would be called “Hællow, hællow"
swedish cher, even.
@@greencandle3060 girl, thats not a swedish letter. It would be like.. hejsan svejsan or hellö hellö ... maybe even tjena tjena if you're feeling bold.

Yeeeees!
My favourite is when she’s dressed in black!! Gorgggggg
Same, I love her in black and with basic nude/brown makeup

Trixes got the mainstream covered.
Katya's got the deep, deep underground covered.
And Laganja, well, she's got everyone covered.

I love the fact the dancer has a big smile all along. It seems genuine and gives off a friendly and inviting twist to the whole thing
Yeah, this song is so fun it’s no time to try to convince everyone how cool and sexy you are. (And by not trying to look cool and sexy, guess what happens?)
Tom Feeney. So cute!
this sounds like a song you'd hear at the beginning on a 00's coming of age movie when the main character is late for school and it's a montage and i'm HERE FOR IT!!
omg i just made this comment too 100% agree
I remember having this exact same thought when I heard this song and "Girl Next Door." She's really nailing that particular vibe.
Yaaaas
I thought about makeover montage
It's definitely giving me some The Hives flashbacks and I love it.
can we all take a moment to not only appreciate trixie’s song and performance BUT ALSO the talented choreography capabilities of the incomparable laganja estranga
Thank you for bringing to my attention that the queen choreographed this
@naryana sims YES BESTIE GIVE HER SOME LOVE
Oh, wow. She gots the talent.
AMAZING
Yesss green qween
Its been 4 months and Im still amazed and obsessed with how great this is as an audiovisual experience. Trixie said, “lets take the single ladies set, make it pink, make it men, make it 60s”
Update: after seeing it live; Im not. I died and went to heaven. Straight up shitting and crying in the third row of the theater. Hellloooo? Helllooooooo.
@@seraph_rj5700 BAHAHA
@@seraph_rj5700 I totally agree! I've played this thing 20 times in a row.
the choreography is FIRE, but no one talks about Trixie's stage presence enough. You can have an incredible choreography, but if you don't have stage presence you have nothing. Trixie is embodying the feeling of the song perfectly and even when this is not a live performance, she's really connecting to the viewer, it invites you to have fun with her. She has improved a lot, not only on dancing but also on her face expressions when dancing, which is really important to manage and it's not an easy thing to manage when you're doing hard choreographies like this one. As a dancer and a viewer I just can't stop watching this.
This would be the perfect song for a 2000’s movie makeover scene
I can see the clothes flying over the top of the dressing room already
i approve
Yes this perfectly describes the vibe of this song lol I love it
YESSSSSS!!!
I would like this comment if it wasn't sitting at 666 likes already.
Did Tracy just go from not even being able to say "hello" and having Katya try to teach her how to say it with emotion, to now Tracy making a song called "Hello" ???? THE EVOLUTION we love to see it
That was goodbye not hello

@@CWconfringo clearly you’ve never watched any of Trixie‘s videos it’s a joke that she called herself Tracy
Siiiis that's true
This feels so 60s and so 00's at the same time and I'm LIVING
Given the 2020s are doing the 80s, will this come back as a classic in the 2040s, do you think?
2021 has truly been Trixie’s year! Between the doll, the music, everything she’s done with Katya, and all her make up launches, working on a freakin HOTEL, I can’t wait to see what 2022 has in store! Does this dainty biological woman ever sleep??
Probably not LMAO maybe in between studios and sets
She bought a Motel so she could be responsible for *other people’s* sleep
Laganja really went "I told ya'll I wanted to choreograph for the queens and goddamn it, that's what I'm gonna do!" and just put everything into one number. Love it
‘Y’all wanted The Twist, eh?’

I think she actually mentioned this specific problem in one of the podcast episodes lol
Honestly, it's just a great bop. That's what I love about Trixie's music. It's not club dance beats which, while great at a gay bar, aren't really all that apt for just listening to. Her music is just... fun, well-written, well-executed, and not out of place on just a regular working around the house playlist.
I legit have this song in my housework playlist
Very few drag queen songs are ones you’d listen to multiple times, or hear on the radio. This breaks that tradition - great bop!

Laganja SNAPPED with this choreography, it just has so many incredible moments. and such an incredible song.
If this song isn't used on a jazzy TV commercial for small, brightly coloured urban cars within the next few months, I'll eat my hat
Or maybe new phones then like the commercial is using "Hello" for a call
@@WonnieWon04 Definitely in a new iphone commercial! 😜
For some reason I feel like it has big Target Summer Commercial vibes?
HAHAHAHHAHA I'll eat my hat DEAD
I had to google "small brightly coloured urban cars" to really understand the vibe you were presenting
For some reason Trixie's wardrobe is giving me Nancy Sinatra aesthetic & I am INTO IT! This song is great, the PRODUCTION VALUE and the talent in it is unstoppable! Also, Laganja needs to be hired as Drag Race choreographer. Like now. She did amazing work and Trix looks so comfortable in the choreo and looks like she's having so much fun!
Nancy Sinatra is her biggest visual influence aside from Dolly Parton. :)
That’s it. You’ve pushed me to memorize this whole dance 🕺
Glad I'm not the only one who learnt the whole choreo.

Please tell me the full name of the black dancer so I can follow him on social media

I dont know what Laganja was getting revenge for, but the energy level of this choreography definitely feels like she was trying to punish Trixie for something
The way her wig splays out over the dancer at the last second of the video is magical. When people say Trix can’t dance, she learnt this in 2 days from Lanjanga’s choreo, it’s pretty cool.
Who knew Tracy could be such a stunning dancer? Between LaGanja’s choreo, the catchiness of this song, and honestly just how gorgeous she looks in this… I just can’t get enough of this vid!!!

She's forced to now bc of her appendix
So so skinny. I'm on the phone with the doctor now, she is so skinny.

Love that sort of 60s/B52s-esque feel to that - fun, energetic but almost monochrome in palette, because all the colour is in the fun moves!
Trixie ticks all the boxes here!
Brilliant!
1) The song is very 90's teen movie. It wouldn't sound out of place on something like Jawbreakers or Never Been Kissed.
2) I hope Laganja gets lots of choreographer gigs and opens her own LA dance studio because she deserves it a lot.
The second this started playing my first thought was “I wonder if this is that difficult choreo Laganja did that Trixie was talking about on the podcast”. Laganja did such a great job with the choreo! Such a fun music video and fun song! 😍
