- It’s Kashmir season till end of August! Because KASHMIR is the greenest and most beautiful in this period. But instead of heading to Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pehalgam, let me take you to Bangus Valley. Here’s everything you need to know:
✨ It’s in the Kupwara district of Kashmir and the closest big town is Handwara. Which is about 2 hours from Srinagar.
✨ You may have to connect with the tourism department to stay overnight in Bangus valley. It is easier to do so around the Bangus Mela. You can stay updated with the dates through google.
✨ However here’s someone from the tourism department who you can connect with - Mr Farooq Shah: +91 70068 18600
✨ Best way of getting here is taking a taxi and staying overnight in Handwara.

Arunanchal Pradesh himalayas is one of the most untouched gems of India. I went there in 2006, that time they were even more untouched than now. And that's where I experienced really untouched beauty. No humans till the end of sight, no restaurants, no tourists, no locals. There are roads but it seems like no one has ever walked on them. I have never found such raw nature anywhere else after that. It was absolutely mind blogging.
I went here when I was in my early twenties about a decade ago. We ate with the locals. It was me and my parents. The most satisfying travels are when you travel with your family. Now I live in the U.S. and travel with my husband and I have opened a whole new world for him which I love as he wasn't a traveller before meeting me.

Hi Tanya, our kashmiri driver took us to this wonderful paradise.Just 100 kms from there is Teetwal Village where New Sharada Yatra Temple is there. 4 hours of journey(100 kms ) with breathtaking views of the valley. Definitely no one should miss it !!! Once in a lifetime experience.❤

I suggest you to go another hidden place in kasmir is tosamaidan ,,, you really forget all places when you will see tosamaidan,it has 5 hidden lakes and have different stories about these lakes and Meadows are 10times bigger than gulmarg ,go and enjoy but it has off road 👍👍👍👍👍
Maam there are two ways that lead to bangus valley...you have gone through handwara which is not a good road...next time you visit you should go through Chowkibal
