Thank you so much for showing up and spotlighting our car culture up here in the PNW. We have a lot of people with a lot of love for cars that seem to get overlooked by the rest of the culture. But to have such a big name as yourself shows up and gives us some shine, which means the world to us. Thanks again, and much love from Washington State.
ty for spotlighting car and our track here in the pnw and in my hometown in monroe :) we greatly appreciate any motorsport enthusiasts that visit. also we have some of the best mountain roads
I’ve sat in a ride along next to Brandon’s fox body. I will say it’s one of the coolest mustangs I’ve had the pleasure to check out. The PNW has a crazy car culture don’t sleep on it. So many dope builds out here of all places and types.
glad you showed terry's car. He's the OG of the honda game out here in seattle. His car went through alot of different fazes and inspired me a lot since I was a child.
Bummed I didn't know about this meet. Would've love to be there. Awesome seeing builds I recognize and have photographed in this video. Gotta make sure I keep an eye out for the next one.
Larry, I am always stoked by your ending song and video montage . The machine gun Larry clip and Scott and Old Smokey among them always stands out. Thanks.
James is an absolute legend and is going to be considered the GOAT in drifting IMO. It was a great interview, Larry, thanks again for sharing your amazing experiences.
In all seriousness Larry, you're one of the last guys keeping the hshift ICE culture alive! EVs are so fast but they have no soul, my daily is an EV commuting appliance, but my trackday car is and will always be hshift ICE, even though it's objectively slower than my EV appliance. I can't even say manual instead of hshift anymore since folks want to call a sequential or DCT a manual.
Larry, you need to host an event like this in the Portland metropolitan area. I no longer have any import car or sports car. I’m a full-time Overlander a jeep grand Cherokee. but I’ve had a long history of high-performance import car ownership, I still enjoy the scene.
Dang, didn’t know you were in my own backyard Larry. Would have loved to meet you man. Next time!! Great cars especially the Mustang. I had a 81 Hatch back and someone swapped a straight six dodge motor in it. 🤦🏽♂️ I bought it for $700 and got $2k for trade in.
Man, as a native Washingtonian I need to hurry up and get my own car. I’m missing out on the scene big time, makes me think we don’t even have one yet I’m enlightened to this.
Connecticut would be my vote. Im from Southern Maryland and in the early-mid 00s i built a turbo e36 and was sponsored by a shop in Stamford CT. And even back then the amount of cool cars and car enthusiasts was surprising. Also went to boosted bimmer meet in Chicago/Schaumburg Illinois in 2007 and there were tons of cool cars there too.
I'm a native German speaker, and I don't understand the term "Keürolla." We pronounce this "Keürolla" like the Japanese koi fish-koi-rolla. What am I missing here? 🧐🤔 And also we say Corolla for ... Corolla.
@@Kirtvall He has a German Plate on his car @ 21:30 (D = Deutschland (you pronounce it Doitchland) = Germany), using German letters like the "ü"... And I as a German don't understand the inside joke.
That fox body, what a perfect example of a street drift car almost too much but just right. Great coverage Larry, thanks.
I see that car every day
Not a fan of the wheels but otherwise super clean build

Love these. Not everyone has to have Ferrari or Porsche or high end cars. You buy what you like, drive and mod the way you like. All love here.
damn thats widebody kit on foxbody be looking sick!
This was such a RAD event! PNW car culture is really slept on!
My last two years in the military was in Seattle , lots of good memories
206 Seattle!! We have a great car culture! Don’t sleep on us!!!!
You have to come out to the 206 more!

Terry's Integra is the GOAT of all Integras. Incredible!!! Soooo clean
Thanks Larry and thanks James, the bests! The real entusiasts. Really great content
Love Terry's Integra. My favorite setup on that thing had to be when it was on Racing Hart Type C2s

Fun fact about the ka truck motor, the lower end is the last version of the Datsun L series motor.

The real OG with the car Trailer is Chris Cut with the NSX. RIP
Iam next door Larry In Idaho!! I really liked Seattle's import car culture classic!

Ce'Atl Ta'Homa NDN Land 🦅

Larry do a VIR event, us Mid Atlantic folks will come out like it's our birthday! Larry Chen HPDE Days, it's got a good ring to it!
Thank you Larry for the stickers!
24:14 engine bay is serious, I love the clean look
Man, as a native Washingtonian I need to hurry up and get my own car. I’m missing out on the scene big time, makes me think we don’t even have one yet I’m enlightened to this.
PNW always got some heat, especially in Seattle.
This is awesome, do more of this.
come north of the border to Vancouver, got a pre good car culture out here
I love that Fox and Alex’s trailer
America has been stacking up on real +25yr old jdms. what a sight
Thanks again for coming to Seattle and the great PNW @larrychen can’t wait to see you next time!!
Used to see the silver Integra at the street races all the time back in early 2000s.. he rolled with tuto in the silver ek lol.
Mustang is sick!
Seattle car culture lol. Come to Vancouver/ Portland and it's so different.
Cool vid though about what they do in Seattle, super cool ❤
Larry got that man self conscious about that crack on the fender on the wagon 😂
Awesome show 👌
YOU GOT ME INTELL I STARTED DRIFTING MY SELF ,,,,,,,
Mustang was sick.
Lots of eye candy. Cool battery mod on the 996!
Really was hoping Deane would lock down a double championship. He's already the GOAT but that would of put him miles above everyone else.
That e46 wagon needs to be on e88’s !!!
Funny you say that, I have my e88’s on the car now!
@@danny332m damn!!!!! Good call brotha
Please come again!
so many JDM's love it!
I’m down here in Vancouver. Some cool cars, but not as crazy as Seattle for sure!
Where do you think is the best place for car culture in the us, larry?

What is that song at the end?? My Shazam won't pick it up!
Also super bummed I didn't know about this event!
Looks epic sad I miss this
Larry! Do you have a schedule? Or are you like the wind and car meets just happen where you happen to blow by?
You need to do the Exotics at Redmond town center!!! Insane event

Is that Jonuts in the yellow EK9?
There was another car like that with the trailer the nsx
Aw man you missed the MPII R34 here locally Larry. Maybe he didn't know or was busy.
Considering moving there and wanted to know what the car culture was like. Great coincidence.
Only states more expensive to live in is cali and Hawaii new york. Good car scene great views shit politics
@@jo-qp7mzon the plus side, no state income tax, every outdoor activity you can think of, and no salt on the roads in winter.

Fox looks really good, but I take the E46 Wagon.
This Meetup was parked right across the street from a Tesla dealership 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The foxbody should've been the thumbnail. Need more American builds like the foxbody. 240s all look the same and are boring now.
WA does have an ok car scene that doesn't get much credit
