I have just purchased the barista maker. I do not know how to get this machine to froth the milk. I have used the cappuccino and latte art settings, and just got hot flat milk. I wondered if the machine was actually faulty. Thanks for any advice.
Yeah we struggled getting really frothy hot milk from it too. We made a few videos with it on the channel if you want to compare your experience with ours. Great results with cold froth though.
@A2BProductions Getting much better results with the Aeroccino 3. Not sure why I purchased the Barista except that it looks nice on the kitchen worktop.
@@A2BProductions The Flat White is indeed a good one. Have yet to be able to try the Cortado as need to add it via the app which functionality seems not to be supported yet in our country.
@@A2BProductions South Africa. Yeah our SA Nespresso app doesn’t support this functionality yet. But I have downloaded the UK / EU Nespresso app and registered an account on it, so hopefully I’ll be able to get it to work ☕️🍫🍶🥛
Thanks and glad you liked the video 😁 Yeah it’s definitely more of a luxury item this one isn’t it. Hopefully Nespresso will introduce a deal on it one time.
@@A2BProductions I really hope so, I have moved to Ambassador status now with Nespresso so they may bring something out soon🤞 so lovely to have you both back again and looking forward to more.
Your videos are excellent. So clear and informative. So is this your setup of choice now; vertuo machine and barista ? I'm still on a classic and aerocino 4 and wondering whether to upgrade. I hear you can get longer coffees with the vertuo as the pods are bigger. Also, when making a mocha I have to add my chocolate to my coffee and use a whisk, then add the milk from the aerocino as I think putting choc in the aero would break it 👍I have found some amazing chocolate from pendragon... It's shavings and tastes lush. Its also very reasonably priced.
Thanks Henry 😁 We still mainly use the Creatista Pro from day to day but use the Barista Recipe Maker for certain drinks. Think the Vertuo machine was designed more for longer mug sized coffees really and we still prefer the OriginalLine coffee for espresso and cappuccino / lattes ☕️ We do use the Vertuo for longer iced coffees too. We wouldn’t have so many different options if we didn’t have this channel though 😅 Just accumulated it over the years 🤪
I bought my Barista when it was on sale but had another frother so I never used it until 18 mos later when I gave my other one away. I couldn’t get the Bluetooth to connect and called customer service but my warranty had expired so I was SOL. It works great other than that but a bit disappointing.
Hi 👋 It can yes and we actually have a video showing how to do that if you want to search it. There isn’t a specific setting for it but we found a hack 😅👍🏼
Ciao, potresti mostrarmi come ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica. Io non riesco in nessun modo. L'ho acquistato di secondo mano e non riesco ad associare il mio account perché è collegato ad un altro😢😢
Hi 👋 You need to access the hidden menu for that. To do it you need to hold the two arrows simultaneously for 3 seconds and then find the reset feature on the menu if I remember rightly. Then press the centre button to confirm the factory reset. I don’t still have the machine to check myself but pretty sure that was how I reset it. Hope this helps.
I bought mine around March and it no longer comes with the spoon but I did get one for about £5 from amazon. I also find it works better with whole milk or oat milk frothes for a nice cappuccino and is now the only machine I use for my milk frothing despite having an Aeroccino4. Also in general in the uk semi skimmed milk is 2% nespresso say to use 2.5% milk which is the American scale so I think there has always been a bit of confusion as initially I could never get the Barista maker to froth with semi skimmed
Yeah I’m sure we have a video on the channel where we tried it with Barista Edition oat milk but a video where we try the different types of standard milk - skimmed semi-skimmed and whole - would be a good idea 👍🏼 Thanks for sharing that info regarding the spoon and US milk too 😁
What is the name of the spoon you bought on Amazon? I need to buy one but haven’t been able to find anything that matches anything close to it. I’m not even sure how to search for it. All the spoons that come up are either stainless steel or much too large.
Great video, do you prefer the Nespresso unit over the Velvetiser? Also, With your milk jugs from the Nespresso Creatista Pro/plus, can you easily see the markings inside of it? As I’ve just bought a new Creatista Pro, directly from Nespresso, and the markings outside the jug are clear and easy to see, but inside (the most important ones) you can hardly see them.
Thanks! My wife prefers the Velvetiser for the texture and the amount you can make with it but I think I prefer the Barista Maker as it makes a hotter drink. With the Creatista jug I know what you mean. I don’t have the jug in front of me now but think the indentation is less noticeable on the inside and I do have to angle it to get the right light to see it properly at times. Manageable but not ideal.
hi, my machine overflowed and milk got into the bottom of the machine. i let it drain overnight and now the machine isn’t turning on. any help or tips? would be really appreciated as i’ve only used it twice 😭😭
Yeah it’s more like a flat white than a cappuccino isn’t it. Seem to remember making a video showing that in the past actually in case others want to see.
I hate this thing! I make my bloody wife a flat white with soy I fill it to the bare minimum and without fail! Every god forsaken time with the cap on milk vomits out everywhere and I have spend ages cleaning soy milk out of every vent and groove. And when I put enough in there so it doesn’t spew out there isn’t enough milk! Words cannot express my loathing and hatred for this device!
Thanks for your post. I need this machine in my life! Santa did not bring it though, so will have to try and be good and hopefully get it next year!

What kind of milk do you use?
Excellent video. I have had mine for about 6 months and the Mocha is definitely a favourite ☕️🍫
Thanks! Yeah the mocha and hot chocolate are very good aren’t they. Makes a nice flat white and cortado too ☕️😁👍🏼

Ah yeah , that came from the Nespresso machine 🙂
How lovely to see you both back, this machine is still on my wish list!!!!!! Need to drop hints near Christmas! Thanks for another excellent video😀👍

Can the barista make cold frothed milk like the Aeroccino? I can’t decide which to get.

Great Video after Nespresso stopped the large pods Alto, I fill with milk and use alto mug and do 50/50 milky coffee’s
Thanks! We have the alto mug set too and love it! Great for a big iced coffee 🧊
I love the coffee ice cubes, have you tried the peppermint coffee and the gingerbread coffee.

Not sure what 2.5% milk is. We have 2% milk and whole milk (3.25%) plus some lower fat milks.
Welcome back.
Thank you.
Thanks 😁👍🏼

Where do you get your measuring jug from please have seen it it lots of your videos, it reminds me of a science lab beaker lol!

What is the difference between Krups v magimix citiz machine. Please advise
As I understand it not much. Just the exterior design of the machine.
Many thanks
Wait did you put the coffee in the recipe maker?
Yes 😊
@@A2BProductions how did you do it? Use the barista to warm the milk same time as the coffee
You can use the Espresso De Panna recipe for whipped cream on top. It takes about 5 seconds and it's done. 😊
Thanks for the tip! 🙂👍
Do you have to be a member of the Nespresso Club in order to use this machine and if so, does this membership cost anything?
No membership needed.
We use this a lot but the cappuccino is awful. We use the aerochino instead

Mine arrived today: no spoon
Sorry to hear that but good to know, thanks 👍🏼
