My goal is to reduce educational disparities by making education FREE.
These videos help you score extra points on medical school exams (USMLE, COMLEX, etc.)

Some videos contain mild profanity and hyperbole solely used to assist with memorization. Viewer discretion advised.
Opinions are entirely my own.
For your CN IX / X / XI foramina mnemonic, I have found that I like "If you cut your JUGULAR, you're going to need 9-11"... Jugular Foramen being CNs 9 thru 11. But whatever works!
holy shit thats good
hello i recently came across your videos as i am studying my USMLE step 1 >i would like to take this oppurtunity to thanks you and your team for putting all these videos out . You are helping building lots of health care professionals.. May Allah bless you and you have more success ahead on your way Ameen
Regards

I was actually procrastinating and finding ways to cram the table in my neuroanatomy book. This came in handy. Massive thank you!
One video about the cranial nerve functions too would be really really helpful @Dirty med
Trochlear nerve has the longest intracranial nerve length because as the name suggests (trochlea = pulley), it originates from the dorsal part of the midbrain and then takes a recourse anteriorly as if it is put on a pulley(trochlea). It is also the only cranial nerve that originates from the dorsal part of brainstem.
Sorry for being picky, but when you say dorsal and anterior, do you mean caudal and rostral, respectively? Brain terminology can be a bit confusing because it's based on an animal walking on all 4s (dorsal is what we think of as superior, and ventral is what we think of as inferior; rostral being "anterior" and caudal being "posterior").
@@shotdoctor5869 venter means belly. So, ventral is equivalent to anterior but ventral & dorsal is used in 4 legged animals. But, many people use it in humans also.
Super detailed and amazing AS USUAL!! Also thank you for the amazing promotion! ❤️
I'm going to cover this on Monday 🤣🤣🤣 you came to save me at the right time!
am just speechless this is the most amazing and understandable anatomy video i have ever watched
i answered all the questions right that means i understood to the fullest
thanks
Thank you for all of your excellent videos.
Going to be covering this on Monday, great timing
..
PONS has 4 letters = 4 "middle" nerves have its nuclei in the Pons (5, 6, 7 and 8)
Thank you so much your videos you always make studying for step a little less daunting. Thank you for making these videos for free!
This is amazing! Thank you so much
The way I remember V2 (maxillary) goes through Rotundum is that the Rotunda (round building with dome) has a max capacity of people and V3 (mandibular) goes through Ovale so you make an O (oval) with your mouth or your mandible.
if it works for you
great vid as always
punching the air right now this video is so slay thank you
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Great video, thank you 👍👍
Thank you this was very helpful
Amazing Video - Greetings From Colombia
The way I remember jugular foramen for 9, 10, and 11 is that when you put them together ( IX X XI ) it looks like the label of a cartoon jug of alcohol. Alcohol "Jug" for jugular foramen.
thankyou so much for this
Great video
Pousing voice and very well explained makes this a fascinated video ..and TY
Thank you
Do I have any use for this as a sociology student? No. Do I still watch most of your videos because learning is cool? Yes!
Thank you 🙏🏻
شكراً لك
I would like to add, that if you already know the "rule of 4's" and remember what 4 CN are motor (this only applies to the CN that come from the brainstem (3-12): Multiples of 12 are all midline: 3, 4, 6, 12. You might be able to just answer a question if they give you a diagram based on just the rule of 4's
Thank you ✨
thankyou very much it's very useful video
Thanks a lot sir
Nice..thanks
Thank you. Can your friend Jen create applications to play with and learn anatomy? Something like completing the body muscles, veins or neurons ?
instead of FRO, can also say Standing Room Only
U are rock sir
This video was very useful to me because I am study my REEG, Thanks!!
superb
what is the first video labeled as? Is there a link connecting this vid to the 1st one?
If I do patreon can I see a pic of u? Lol 😝
Amazing videos! They are being very helpful during my step 1 prep
For cranial nerve 1(olfactory) and 2 (optic ), they originate from nose and eye, not cerebrum. Their destination are cerebrum, because they are pure sensory nerves. Thanks
MNEUMONIC I would like to contribute--
3-4 - Mid-Brain (break it up as you say it)
5,6,7,8 - try to keep your PONS straight (8 and straight rhymes)
everything else is medulla
Thanks a ton... Love from INDIA
The hypoglossal nerve is kind of confusing location, in the illustration it’s location is different than What’s on the plastic model
Well first off it’s not plastic nor a model that’s a real human cadaver brain. And it is in the exact same spot. Right in front of CN 9.

I m in love love with dirty ❤❤
2:14 (Main content) Remember in your prayers.
I thought the trochlear was the shortest and abducens was the longest CN?
Trochlear has the longest intracranial course. Abducens has the longest intradural course.
Sir I m waiting for it ,plz
Dirty, thank you.
It sounds like you didn't enjoy making this video
I had an amazing time. I prob sound that way because my fancy new mic picks up the bass in my voice better
