With a little more size you could add a hold down to help lock the knob in place while drilling to prevent any spinning of the knob! Very nice explanation of the setup!

Can you explain how you came up with the distances from the center to the small cutouts.

Hi, it is a matter of preference of how big you want the cut outs to be. Two things that I kept in mind while determining the sizes were,
1)Not to make the distance between the cut outs too small.
2)Not to make the cut outs to deep into the centre circle so that I could not fit a knob in the middle to hold the piece of wood in place.

Deon, I love this jig and will make it very soon. At 74 my hearing is really not good. So I apologize if you covered this.
What size are the 3 hole on the outer side and the center?
Are all blanks the same size as the center hole?

Hi, the big hole in the middle is 54mm and all the smaller ones are 32mm. I hope this helps. You can however make them any size that you prefer. Thanks for your support! 👌
