Not really It was cause of groudons desolate land that caused them to not use water type moves Only kyogre could counter it unless someone had rain dance but i dont think rain dance will work And kyogre was on low hp

I technically wouldn't consider Groudon to be a Fire type since its naturally a Ground but I guess an even playing field had to be done here I guess due to Primal Kyogre but, the Fire team has advantage. Oh well.

Why not palkia with 680 base stats that's kinda messed up the fire types legwndaries have 3 pokemon pokemon with 2 having 680 stats on one 670 excluding primal form when groundon evolve and only kyogre with a 670 base stats excluding it's primal form, you should have add palkia which is a water type and even arceus on give him the water plate that would be more fair base on stats but the water type with those 2 addition would make it cholds play

Think about this. What happens if Primal Groudon was switched in all the time to counter the water type attacks? That would be pointless and also the opponent was gonna predict Primal Groudon being switched in. The point was to at least land a hit. The water team did a good job trying to battle here too.
