When you read the Bible you have to look at the situation and the whole chapter not just the verse to understand why he said things and who he is speaking to. That is why people get confused 😕 read it for yourself the entire section to understand don't just take the word of someone because their are many that say certain things that sound biblical but at the end of the day another would say it was not interpreted right. How does your walk with God reflect what you are doing no man is perfect remember people make mistakes but God doesn't we are lead to preach the good news of Christ and ask yourself is what is being preached exalting God and showing his love, mercy and grace and what he wants us to do. No one goes to the father except through Jesus Christ 🙏 because the father loved us so much he gave his only son to give us eternal life and salvation. Accept Jesus Christ as you Lord and Savior. Before people had to sacrifice animals to attoin for there sins but Jesus was the lamb of God and died so we would be set free from sin thats why we need to accept this gift from God. This is the good news to the world because the Bible says there is no man on earth that is perfect only Jesus Christ was perfect and he died in our place to set us free. That is what we are meant to preach. We are all brothers in Christ no one is more special to God then another the more we know the more we are expected from us to follow and teach correctly 🙏 God bless.
True that, we should not be ashamed to call them brothers. That’s why Jesus Christ is also called our older brother, the first born. Hebrews 2:11-12 And yet he is also our Father. And that’s why he is not upset if you have a biological father. No competition here. Just different roles at different levels, that some understand and others don’t. To begin with, God never called Lucifer his son. The bible does not say it. It's putting perspectives where it's not. There is no scripture where Satan is called a son of God, nor a concept present in scripture in this regards. When you begin on a faulty premise, the build up is faulty. "Nor must you allow yourselves to be called teachers, for you have only one Teacher, the Christ." (Vs. 10) As you can see, in the context of Matt. 23:9, Jesus instructed his followers not to copy the ways of the Pharisees by applying to themselves such religious titles as "Rabbi," "Father," and "Teacher." Did Jesus' followers obey his words? Well, ask yourselves, where in the Bible was: a. Paul referred to by the title "Father Paul"? Answer: NOWHERE!! b. Peter addressed as "Rabbi Peter"? Answer: NOWHERE!! c. Luke called "Teacher Luke"? Answer: NOWHERE!! Clearly, the Catholic Church is wrong when it refers to its priests by the religious title "Father." The Catholic Church is a cesspool of "Christian" apostasy.
Good Q. If you read the full chapter. You'll see that it was a rebuke to Pharisees who liked to be called father but yet was under the covenant of Moses. Under the old covenant of Moses they didn't have the right to fatherhood. But Paul goes on to say how he fathered through the gospel which is the new covenant. Under the NT convenant Jesus said I am the light and then said you are the light. Jesus gave them the authority to forgive sins. Jn20:23 That’s why He is the father of all lights. We function as He functions. Otherwise did Jesus call Joseph his dad, Dad or man? We now assume things that we don’t see explicitly when you say they didn’t call them by titles. It’s not the titles that are wrong, it’s the motive in which they accepted it that was wrong. That’s for God to judge. Not you or us. Besides we still see the disciples continued call fathers as father's. Even Paul refered himself as a father. See some verses below. Can you give me just one Bible verse that says Caiaphas was called 'Father Caiaphas'? You know you can't.
