Nice work on this one Alex! Another tip for folks, Walmart always has foam yoga bricks for $4. I slice them up to custom shapes with my band saw or large kitchen knife any they work greats s are super cheap! 👍👍
It is definitely not the same, but for jamming some thing in there quickly it is the best. If it fails then cleaning with acetone and breaking out the weldwood contact cement is always an option. I primarily rely on it for thin pads and the like.
Do you have any recommendations on how to do this for a creek boat? I have a similar set up in my play boat and it is great, but my legs are always so uncomfortable in my 9r. Just do this then glue it to the existing bulkhead?
I got some foam and cut a nice foot block out of it today. Only problem is that I cant get in down in the bow because of the seat pillar. Would you recommend cutting the block into 2 pieces and putting them in that way, or trying to pull the entire seat out and putting it down in one piece?

How strong does that spray adhesive hold? I used contact cement for my boat but that looks easier and less messy

Do you have any recommendations for where to get that style foam? Thanks for the vid!
You can order blocks of mini cell foam online, or cut a foot block out of an old pillar from a broken boat.
@@AlexBarham Thanks for the info!

I've worked on 80 year old tractors that were more user-serviceable than this old Wavesport EZ.....
Lol you mean the ones you could rebuild to work flawlessly with less parts than it started with?
