Taylor gets caught kissing hector and is FORCED to confess to ridge. For some strange reason , Taylor decides to admit she committed adultery with James. Although ridge had lusted for and kissed Brooke, they had never done the deed he was still in a working marriage with Taylor. Putting all her cards on the table, Taylor thought all would be forgiven and they would start anew. All ridge saw was an opportunity out of a marriage he would not have made of his own accord.ridge said he married Taylor out obligation, they way she had carried herself, that she had no stain, no tarnish, so he felt because of that he had no option not to marry her. Had ridge known that Taylor slept with James and cheated during their marriage, he would have made different choices and stayed with Brooke. Taylor used thorn and they pretended the baby was thorns. Once the secret was out the baby, Taylor planned to move away with the baby if ridge married Brooke. Taylor and Stephanie demanded that ridge marry Taylor to provide a home for Thomas. I been watching this soap since day 1. Taylor using the boy to manipulate her marriage to ridge is probably what turned him into a sociopath.
