    I drill 140 lb mostly rye,some legume,4lbs radish.residue slicer handles it fine with weighted planter,cast iron closing wheels.

    Either you're "Green" or you use Glyphosate.
    You can't have it both ways.
    Pick a lane and stick to it.

    Was great until round up was mentioned cmon farmers no more glyphosate.

      You go invest thousands in equipment and crop inputs and try growing crop without chemical assistance and let me know how that works for you. You'll be flat broke and out on your ass after the first season.

      Another eco turkey gobbling along with the rest of the eco turkeys; like erosion isn't a problem. No Round-up? Fine, he can plant a broadleaf cover and burn it down with 2,4-d.

      @@nonyadamnbusiness9887 You can't really get enough diversity in the cover crop with broad leaves alone and 2,4-D won't touch the grasses. IN theory (and on paper) crop rollers can be used to eliminate the chemical inputs but in the real world they only work under ideal circumstances. We can still decrease our dependency on the chemicals by a lot but that's never enough for the enviro-activists.
