I like to think that Shulk actually hypes himself up like this while fighting. This whole video was hilarious.
Instead of "Shulk foresees a fight!" what they really should have put is "Shulk really feels a fight!" or even "Shulk's really feelin' it!"
I would've guessed it would be along the lines of "Shulk seizes his destiny!"
Shulk feelin it wasn't a meme at the time so it wouldn't have made any sense.
Shulk's voice in Smash sounds a bit different from his Xenoblade voice.
Yes, he uses a slightly higher voice pitch than the one he used in Xenoblade Chronicles. But I like it better, it's more boyish.

Guh, Link used to be my favorite but since I found Shulk I'm never going back. Besides, Shulk has a voice AND IT SOUNDS LIKE BRITISH SEXINESS. Oh my word
Link got really shitty when Brawl came out when it came to Smash, he got really slow and was outright now a heavy character compared to the Link in Melee. Smash wise OoT Link was better as much as I love TP. Another character version was changed when Melee-Brawl thing happened. Pikachu, yes Pikachu. The Pikachu in Brawl, is Pichu from Melee evolved. All of Pichu's accessories from Melee are on Pikachu plus the move set is like Pichu's. Pichu never left, he just simply evolved.

...Link has always been a slow, heavy character in Smash. He was so in 64 AND Melee. The biggest outright reason for him being garbage in Brawl was having horrible recovery(1 of the reasons 64 Link was also among the worst in his game was bad recovery) in a game where most characters had a great one, and Toon Link doing all his projectile game, only better.

Link was not that much faster in Melee honestly, at least not compared to the rest of the cast, and he was really slow in 64(which I suggest you replay, like I do every week).
Also, Link is a heavyweight in ALL the games(just never one of the heaviest ones).

Speed is a Monado art, though! It allows people to dodge attacks.
