What a match. The defense from both skaters was impeccable and these dudes just seem to have endless tricks.
It was a rusty start due to COVID and scheduling but you guys managed to still turn this into a historic BATB... Only the best survive!!! The quality of the matchups is insane at this point. It's starting to feel like the finals already lol

lol the problem seemed to be that park was too small for how fast he likes to go, and he also slipped out a lot on the surface. This could've gone differently if Luan was at the berrics.
Too bad it had to be long distance, cuz for THESE two titans it really felt like only a shadow of how epic their battles can go with that live in-person energy. Still, just an amazing game. Luan's such a class act at the end too. Good luck at Finals Sewa!

They're both so humble and all about vibes and good skating, and I just love it. Those skaters always stand out to me, Chris Cole and prod too. No huge competitive showy or flashy edge, just all about the fun and joy of skating and pushing the limits

There was a back 180 double flip in yesterday's game from Griffin.
540 flip is pretty average nowadays. there are some skaters who can do 720 flips on flat, and also Giger landed 540 double flips.
@@jaypostma3633 tbh 540 is not really hard once you mastered the treflip, and its a pretty consistent trick
I was rooting for Luan, but I'm happy for Sewa. Both delightful to watch. I just love how Luan goes twice as fast and pops twice as high as post competitors. Thrills me pretty much every time he catches his board on the way up. Let's go for Sewa vs Jamie in the final!

Thing is. If Sewa goes first and starts doing all fundamentals in every stance, jamie might miss on one of the "easier" once. We all know that even the best miss str8 8's and the like sometimes. Could become a battle of attrition where stamina comes into play.

The match was exactly how I imagined it to be. Can't get much better than this
Luan was at a slight disadvantage being remote. Part of his game is how intimidating it is to defend when Luan is going 20 mph and slamming everything perfectly.
Your kidding right? Luan got to skate at his home park, on wood, and with no ref or crowds around. Seems like Luan had a big advantage if you ask me.
@@pillowsnare he’s used to skating in front of crowds. He’s a comp guy. Plus home park doesn’t give you much advantage on flat. Also I’d take the berrics polished concrete over high end plywood any day. Not to mention he has an exact section where he has to do the trick cus he doesn’t have someone there to film. Sewa could use a huge area of the park. Not saying the win wasn’t justified just that the game might have been even better if they were in the same room.
