Well, if a Zarya is good and knows how to get her charge, she'll be charged anyway, if you want it or not. Doesn't have to be anyone responsible for it

It reminds me of when I was Moira and I was healing my team then got flanked and killed by a fully charged Zarya several times despite not shooting her shield bubble once.

Now that I think of it, that's a very good point. It would also be easy to implement. After all, tanks get a "damage absorbed" stat... My only problem is that it would encourage to use the grenade offensively. As a support flex, I'm not sure I want to see that happen. :p
@DazzlingCockroach Encourage to use it offensively? Denying healing is a great way to utilise her grenade.
Quite possibly the best use of her grenade is for clutch offensive plays

Ye, she was almost my first golden gun, but I chose ana instead. (side note, I haven't played her in a while bc I feel that what ever role I'm not filling is the one that actually sux, I mostly play support and dps) all that means is I can never find an Ana or moira that actually heals enough to justify Zarya

That zen had one of the worst matches ever possible: Braindead teammates, 4 dps, Hanzo, the only healer and they had leaver. No one should experience that!( except Throwers go rot in bronze:D)
Yeah, try when you play as Sombra and your 5 other teammates are in a group and they leave. In TM. That is every 2 matches for me.
