It’s a story dude. Get the essence and move on. Conscientiousness would be a better word for ToC in my opinion if only one word was allowed
You are confusing two stories. Jesus said this because this was a common teaching at his time, and well before his time. And the story the professor was sharing is actually a Jewish story that is separate. But thanks for playing...
