I mean…a lot of them only knows how to copy paste the same few moves to bring out their synchro boss and 2 sidekicks. Faced with anything that counters their board even a little and they’ll forget how to duel.

I been playing duel links since like 2019 and got really into it mid late 2020 the damn harpies have always gotten a lot of hate and they been always screeching their way to the top. another deck that gets a lot of hate is galaxy photon but photon is not a problem since if they dont get 2 stream of destruction in starting hand they insta surrender.

I'm not asking Konami to release a game-breaking deck like effing Dragoon, just something that can overthrown Harpies to tier 1 like idk Subterror Guru could be pretty good for DL.

I haven't run into Harpie decks much but I'd consider myself a low level player because I just play very casually. I've seen more Blue Eyes decks than anything. I find those to be the worst offenders among low levels.

I should know im a blue eyes player (I actually main vendreads but dont ever play them in PVP because I was abandoned by the meta long ago)
BE is rampant on lower rank, but once you go into the higher rank you rarely see them anymore. But the dab thing is, you'll find a lot of herpes and stall players
True, Harpies can be a pain (I do play them sometimes) but the BE swarm is just something that pisses a lot. Especially when they are armed to the teeth with KC and Providence. On Gold and below I just use weak decks out of courtesy. Stuff like Cubics, Relinquished, Destiny Board, you know, gemless decks.

I knew from when I first started playing ranked with it I wouldn't get so far because it's so inconsistent but losing so much with it is bringing out my competitive spirit. I have bad memory so I have trouble building decks and that means I'd have to invest a lot more effort and time that what I currently do to get to higher ranks. I am tempted though.
