@@curiousity271 it happens on my Mac with the M1 chip also. I find the TM 2023.2 release to be a bit unstable and hope it will be fixed in the next release. Have you tried to turn down the quality in TM when working? I will test to see if working in a medium to high mode reduces the crashes when working in ultra mode.
Lumen is a huge thing for me as a Mac user. It does however have its downsides. 1. It does not show reflections in a mirror of objects outside the camera view. 2. Neon lights are completely exploding in size when using Lumen. My work-around is to use area lights instead.
Hi Thank you for the video. My questions are: 1. Does this eliminate the use of Reflection Probes? 2. Does this eliminate the use of Area Lights placed outside windows? Looking forward to your input. Cheers Grethe
1. You don't need them if you're using Lumen 2. Not sure. It seems you'd get more light in your scene because Lumen calculates a light bounce, but I don't know if it's enough to completely remove the need for area lights
I bought my new MacBook M1 last year and lumen works on it. It only tends to crash at times, but overall it works really great. Unfortunately the image output is only 2K when using a none commercial license.
It is now - I had to refilm the whole thing when the new UI came out, so it should be pretty up to date. It doesn't touch on Lumen yet, obviously, as that's an early release feature, but yes otherwise
@@TheRenderingEssentials You can set your monitor resolution in windows to 4k with virtual super resolution activated to imitate and record in 4k even if your physical monitors are 1080p max.
@TheRenderingEssentials Im not talking about recording in 4k im talking about recording in 1080p and uploading in 4k to take advantage of the better bitrate 4k videos get on youtube.
Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about the Lumen update of Twinmotion in the comments below! :)
Is this update going to be available for my existing purchase?
When I turn lumen on it will crash the entire project I am working on. So frustrating😢... Any solution pse? Thanks

I’ll stick to the path tracer. But it’s good to show my boss quick renders closer to finals.
