"You're The Most!" - Welcome Home (Animation)

- Well, looks like I'm building puppets again... I have an idea for something to do with Welcome Home in the future, and hopefully if I knock out my current slate of to-do's then I'll be able to execute it... for now-- here's an animation test with the Wally rig I built! Made in like 3 hours (and in a huge rush if I'm being honest) ... the rig is still only one view and very WIP, but I think it can look good with some refining!
I'm still unsure about this style (I prefer hand drawn, but puppets save time....) so this is all subject to change!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of him as Elmo's cousin 😭
After combing through the website to find that audio and the other bits, it still unnerves me with how monotone Wally is. Except for one clip, his voice always sounds like his words are being processed and cleaned of most emotion
And that one clip is... uh... not nice and friendly.

Welcome Home feels so surreal in it's art style and the mysteries it holds within it's own website! (But other than that, great animation KittenSneeze and also Wally is my favourite!)

I liked welcome home immediately when I found it a few months ago and the animations for welcome home are great and this is no different absolutely beautiful

Personally i wouldn't have gone with the unhinged face here and rather go for a small head twitch or pupil retraction (idk what its called) to us more uncomfortable, by noticing something is slightly wrong instead of immediately making it clear that hes a bad guy
