RUclips need to give Plaques for ORIGINALS!! Cuz OG IVY ROCKS!!!!Girl I come right back here every time I want to do this install. My front hairline is tricky and I can’t part my leave out ear to ear. I have to part my in a curve near my temples cuz my hair falls down/sideways and not backward from straight hair trained wraps. I figured it out though and sometimes I even part my hair on both sides like deep parting to make it look even more natural. Compliments every time. Now my coworkers want me to install theirs! Years ago when you introduced this method i used it and the weave queens in my area were confused. they wanted to know how i did it but they could not bring themselves to ask. you were the first person who really showed how to finish a weave. other youtubers would not show you how to finish the front of the weave. thank you IVY, YOU ARE TRULELY GENEROUS .GOD BLESS YOU. Yeah I feel like closures and frontals were great inventions for folk that have no hair basically or bald spots etc. But if you have the edges and hair to do cornrows etc. it's just better and easier. It's just something about a bomb ass sew in lol.

Giiiiiiirl when she say don't pull too tight or sew on the net she mean that!!! I have a scar on my scalp from not paying attention. Hair grew back and my hair was FIRE for about 3 days...but it was too tight and sewn onto a braid I LITERALLY almost scalped myself no cap smh listen to Mother Ivy when she tell you what to do! ❤

I showed my hair dresser this video 6 years ago, and it was the best curl weave I had to this day. I saved it, and I'm about to see if this new hair dresser can do the same. I had no idea this was called the IVY method until I came back to this video. Good job. Should have trademarked this.
I use to sew my hair in like this in the 90s ( I dont know any other way ) I'm just now learning about other methods like closers etc .But I still think this is the most natural looking way. You look so beautiful with this style ❤

Yay for the new method! Stupid question though, when it sped up to show you sewing the last little piece to close the style, had you gone all the way across the top filling the space you left and sewing the cut wefts vertically

Ivy thank you so much. You're a weaveologist. I did the old method not to long ago and got so many compliments. You have really helped me take my weave to another level. People couldn't believe it was a weave. Ok so could you just do a video where you are super close up when you actually close the tracks? Or you can just answer my question. So when you do all of the little tracks on the rectangle and you get to the last ones. This is what I got, you said sew the last little one and connect it to the 2nd to the last track . That is where I got confused. It just looked like the track disappeared. Did it disappear because you pulled/sewed those last 2 tracks together so tight? BTW you always look very beautiful and I really appreciate all of your videos.

N i would do this to my hair but in a not so cute way and that's when i first started to watch Ivy it was bc i would rarely see this style. This isn't no disrespect to Ivy, but make some ppl are subscribed to ppl who is more relatable, more affordable, or are into realistic hair extensions or wigs (not overly unrealistic silky virgin hair extensions or wigs). Some people don't want to spent $200-$1000 for hair plus the style.
