This seems unusually quiet for Haeundae Beach. Especially during the summer. Perhaps the video was shot very early in the day? I was there last summer with my wife. Busan is her hometown. We love everything about Busan.
Just returned from Busan, South Korea. Stayed at an Air bnb just minutes from this beach. Loved the beach there. Night time is the best as there are performances right there on the beach. I took some video and posted on my page. Busan, What a wonderful place. I sincerely hope to return some day...especially to revisit the " Love lock " my fiance and I left at the Busan Tower.
Some of my Korean friends have told me that going to the beach is not popular in Korea, especially on sunny days; many Koreans avoid the sun in order to get pale skin; they love to go to the beach on cloudy days.

Yeah...Haeundae Beach is rather quiet and empty before ( i think ) 10:00am. Not a lot going on except the street cleaners.

Idk beaches don't seem to be a big thing in Korea
its nice to go when its darker, you can just walk along the sides, enjoying the sounds

I love beaches. All day I want to do is staring at the ocean :)
Because even in a hot weather the water is so cold..it makes you freeze
