I remember T5. I was there before. I visited JFK in 2009. I was visiting with my old manager who work for HMS Host in JFK. He was transferred to JFK in 2007. He got promoted as assistant general manager. He work for Commissary manager before. I was in Delta terminal 2 and 3. I know JFK airport very well. I came from Phoenix. I work PHX airport from 2005 to 2008.
If you’re coming to NYC for the first time- take the Air Train to Jamaica and then take one of the very frequent trains into Manhattan- either Penn Station or Grand Central. You can always take a taxi from those stations to your hotel. No reason to take a taxi from JFK to Manhattan.
