WOW AI really got improved and got smarter AMAZING 😯😯😯
I would never think the AI will attach wagons to the players train
We need more missions from Dovetail and emerge Northeast Corridor DLC with Long Island DLC

I wish they'd make a ship simulator like this

Huh. I’d love the Cunard Services. Y’know, the Queen Elizabeth II, Mary and Victoria. Trips are usually ‘tween 3-day Norwegian to a 118-day world cruise.

I love simulators and train simulators to be precise. When I think of train simulation I just don't want the eye candy to be top notch but train dynamics too (Physics). For the train dynamics to work to at least match up with real world performance, track work has to be accurate i.e. gradients etc. With that said these simulators look really impressive graphic wise but do they have accurate working physics? I have never used any of these as I have been stuck to Openrails. So I'm really curious about how these simulators fair up in the physics department.

With today's impressive graphics most what we get as termed "simulator" do very little to simulator the physics you ask about. These companies are after money and know that what sells are perfectly designed virtual environments and actual physics are of no concern. At least that's what I have come to realize with most simulators dating back to the early days of Railworks. That Microsoft simulator had bugs but it allowed the end use to modify and what the community did in that department was amazing. They did a remarkable job than Kuju in fixing up the physics to somewhat replicate the real world and the content creators out shined Kuju with their detailed models and routes. What those guys at Open Rails are doing is much appreciated for folks like me who want more of accurate physics than anything else I believe you referred to it as eye candy. As for this Train Sim World platform I'm curious too as to how accurate the physics are.

I highly doubt that these simulators can give you the actual feel of what real crews have to contend with on the rails.

For great train dynamics go to railroad companies. They have quality simulators that mimic real world physics.

@@dannywells7581 I used to be active at the ts forums and this was discussed a lot by the folks there. The contributions made to achieve an enjoyable sim with its bugs was amazing. The introduction of OR was a community fed up of being neglected and decided to go at it alone and the results are impressive too. They're still working on it and their road-map is well defined and the main purpose was to get a simulator that prioritizes physics first before anything. So I would say their contributions thus far are commendable. There is Run8 on the market I think the platform gives attention to physics but not too sure to what extent.

Imagine going up a mountain pass @ almost maximum speed with 18k tons or more. But when you look at the real world trains they go up that same territory at a slow pace, load and gradient working against the train. In the simulator you don't get to experience that you drive through like you are on flat terrain.

When you're approaching a road crossing, the proper horn sequence is: long-long-short-long (__________ ___________ __ ________[until the lead unit clears the crossing]_____).
