FYI Jason wasnt born this way, he had an accident, got brain damage and lost his memory and had a personality change, so the writers have it wrong if they have Sam say that Danny inherrited Jason's tendancy to go towards danger, because that wasnt Jason before. What Danny did inherit was Jason's kindness, wanting to take care of the people he cares for and observing. So Sam maybe you should look at yourself and what Danny got from you and how you raised him, cause you are saying Jason wasnt there...🤷♀️

This whole exchange sums up in a nutshell why I hate what the writers did with Sam. If this all comes back to Jason and Sam getting back together because Sam finally faced her fear then it took a while. However, they made her so judgemental and Carly was the one that I feel was speaking for the fans in these scences today. Jason would take a bullet and has taken one for those he cared about especially Sam. Carly has noted that to anyone that has ears and the ones that recognize that are the ones that get it. All I need is for the episode where Jason gets his flowers from Team Jason and the others have to eat crow because Jason saved the day once again.
Sam shouldn't have brought this issue to Carly. She's doing her relationship with Danny a disservice. He had to sneak to see Jason before, because of Sam's attitude about all of this. She needs to play it cool. I do believe Sam is hurt over the failure of her relationship with Jason, and that she's expressing that by "protecting" Danny. Her concerns as a mom are valid and her focus should be to teach her son to defend himself. Yes Jason has danger around him, but he might not be the reason Danny could end up in danger.

The wildness and recklessness that she supposedly sees in Danny could just as easily come from her instead of Jason!! Sam used to run scams back in the day and was not at all adverse to doing illegal stuff. Carly has a very very good point, Sam knew EXACTLY who and what Jason was AND what he was into when she decided to get all hot in the pants about having his baby!!! Also, what happened to Morgan was unfortunately more due to his bipolar than anything that was happening with Sonny at that time. I have to agree with Carly, Sam KNEW what Jason's lifestyle was like and that he wasn't going to willingly give it up and she was still desperate to have his child. Jason said it in 2020 to Sonny how even though he loves danny, he wished he would've fought harder to say no to Sam about having kids with her. And now here's sam saying that even though she got what she wanted, (Jason's kid who was exactly like jason) because "she loved him at the time" she's now "grown up" and realizes she doesnt want danny to be like Jason. After all the hell and grief she put Liz, Jake, and Jason through because of the fact she couldnt have jasons kid first, and now that she has, she acts like she didnt want her kid to be a mini jason? 😂 Someone please put Jason back with Liz and let him be a family with her and their son.
