A wise character yet to debut in a future book/season will point out that Amon was wrong in his beliefs but was wrong in taking it to the extremes he took it to.
Korra in season 1 being impatient, abrasive and trigger happy is part of her character arc. Remember Aang in season 1 was childish, often immature, tried to avoid his responibilities and didn't "stand his ground".
From what I heard Yang Chen would as well. Seems like the female Avatars tend to be more willing to end people when they need to based off what we've seen. I'm here for it
Hence the avatars as people themselves ain't a reincarnation, but a reincarnation of the *spoilers* Ravaa, the blue kite spirit, that allows each person it connects with since birth, all 4 elements. Basically hard drive with extra steps
It always bothered me when masses believed the avatar reincarnation is exactly what the concept of reincarnation is. Apparently they all have different personalities, and while the rest of past avatars are literally you (based on reincarnation concept), now can talk with you. How does that work even in a crazed universe as this? It's some 792Dimensional shi with extra 927d audio and effects
14:14 Well in theory it definitely seems possible… chi-blockers like Ty-Lee are able to use pressure pints to momentarily restrict a persons bending. So it makes sense that if you had complete control over a persons blood you somehow restrict their bending on a more long term/permanent period of time. (Like maybe there’s certain points in your body/brain that are directly related to the ability to bend and if you can somehow use blood bending to shut off the bloods access to that part of the brain/body similar to how the chi-blockers do it, then they’d no longer be able to bend at all.)
I think it was pretty naive of Noatak/Amon to think he could remove bending from the world, just by taking it away from current benders. He and Tarrlock were proof that just removing it from a person doesn't mean that their children won't have bending, since they were born after Aang took away Yakone's bending.
That’s why he had a movement surrounding his push for non bending. Once you make it a crime to be a bender everyone born with it will either be killed or have it taken from them. If he just did all this on his own then no one would go along with it. That’s why the masses being on his side is important.
I can’t think of many other animated shows that managed to take a bad guy I hated and make them so sympathetic that you actually kinda care for and want to help them. And that line of “Put an end to this sad story.” Damn.
Korra and Mako's plan is to out Amon as a hypocrite and liar. Liar because he's lying about his whole life story and how he got the power to remove bending and a hypocrite for using bending to remove it. Also when it comes to bending being used to exploit others, bloodbending is the most obvious one of all so all the nonbenders rallying behind Amon because they have been exploited by benders are supporting someone who could do so more than anyone else.
Season 1 and 2 were standalones because thats how they were ordered. 3 and 4 have more of a flow. Its one of the big criticisms of the show, but I really loved the final seasons. Possibly more than ATLA
Tarrlok's plan was so obviously bad and driving up support for Amon that I thought they were secretly working together. Either this is a trick to get Korra to lose her bending or Tarrlok was extremely incompetent.
The most unrealistic part of Korra's first season is believing Amon's followers would abandon him once they learn the truth. If the last ten years have taught us anything, it's that those devout enough will follow a leader even if they're proven a fraud.
Not unless he turns out to be a hypocritical fraud. I think when your leader whose main principle is to exterminate bending, is exposed as a bender himself is definite turning point in one's belief. The actual challenge is to prove it's true.
Loyal, Brave, and Selfless? I dont know if that applies here. Shes somewhat Loyal, and Brave, but whit some difficulties, but Selfless? Not realy. Zukos Voice doesnt realy fit that well eighter. He sounds waaay to young. Also, Iroh is kinda cool, but he never did anything in that Show.. 14:30 yeah the Creators didnt quiet got that eighter, and just assume hes cast out as a Hypocrite.

Can't wait till you meet Zaheer 😈
💯🥰
Highly suggest you don’t use subtitles so you don’t get spoiled later down the line Yaboyroshi got spoiled when they reacted to season 4
"If I was a non-bender..."
AniMelon is a bender, confirmed.
she can bend melons
I wonder what elements she bend
Yakone: "You will claim Republic City!"
Republic City: "omg, why are you so obsessed with me..."

People who crap on korra and praise Atla always forget details like that
None of the avatars act the same, so there isn't one archetype other than the need to bring balance. Kyoshi would've straight up killed amon

The only thing that's the same is the "Avatar smile" 😁
@@naijagerd7909 And they DO all seem to genuinely care about helping others.
14:04 He combines his knowledge of chi-blocking with Bloodbending to sever their connection to their bending abilities.
My theory is that Amon uses blood bending to block a benders chakra points
Then again that would probably mean that he's creating multiple blood clots in a person 🤔 leading the people to die a slow painful death
Wow what a really good theory. I wonder if you’ve seen the entire series? 🤔
@@luisramos7598 what series?
That IS how it's done. Creators already confirmed that
@@a.r.5100 really now? Good to know 👍

Tarlok did say he went too far in trying to please his father when he was in Republic city
Korra and Mako are together…. “Not together, together…” that’s what Korra said about her and Bolin when they first met!
Apppa look like platypus :D
Amon uses blooding bending to permanently blocks the chi flow that helps with bending. Basically a blood clot.
Bro… I can’t stop looking at that goofy Appa plush 😂
Baron praxis from jak2
What did you do to Appa (background?) o_o
I think he's just about always been like that.
I tried to return him and Amazon said they didn’t want it back😂😂😂
@@Animelonyou tried to return Appa?!?!?! Oh noooo 😂 what’s the alternative, Nagga, Oogi?

Hi Melon This episode was crazy the Amon and Tarrlok binning Bloodbending brother
I didn't see it coming

I like Legend Of Korra show❤
Awesome!
Looks like it was the best descion Korra made to go to amons csmp cause she learned thr truth about him and tarlok
I thought it was great that Aang named one of his sons after King Bumi

The imagery of the Amon mask on a strong bender is good
Korra had a great argument now cause amon is fooling and lying to every non bender

Tarrlok says Noatauk always wanted people to be treated fairly and equally.... jfc
@@jojojo503 he is still lying to everybody and fooling them
