I am I the IT business because of my father, and I can't tell you how many times we've had to deal with people looking for 3rd party help trying to get their machines fixed because the actual repair workshops are too incompetent to fix it themselves. Hope everything works out for you

Rip my crap top of 3 years, battery LITERALLY melted after the manufacturer returned it to me, and damaged it to the point where I had to keep the charger plugged into the wall to keep it running.
Mind you, the reason I sent it them was because it was having issues with battery life...

I feel you. My old laptop's hard drive sudddenly fried itself after three years and the one in my new laptop has been threatening me for the past 6 months (slowdown, warning messages), but the SMART tests come out okay so far and it hasn't croaked while I was working on my university thesis. I hope it won't die now.
basicly my experience with geek squad took a whole month to get my case fans and cpu fan replaced.... and i had to take it to a different place to get them replace because they didn't know how to do it AND before that, didn't have fucking fans for a fucking computer

The only time I had my computer checked for something, they found the problem. I did send it to someone small in the local area though since my parts where bought from everywhere and I didn't knew exactly what was wrong.

this is what happened with my computer the sad sad memories the same day i was expecting it to come back the company that was re repairing it went bankrupt so they gave it back with no hard drive
