  • Hello, guys. In this video I'm experimenting with the format. I'm trying to talk while playing. If you like or don't like this, please comment below.
    Here I'm playing a set of 8-ball pool with a ghost opponent race to 6. To win a point I have to break and run, anything else is a point to the ghost. I'm trying to explain as much as I can, but sometimes I don't know how to explain things in english very good, I will improve in a future, no doubt. Also I showed the cue ball and where I'm hitting on each shot.
    Hopefully you'll find this video useful for your game.

    I would like to see some straight pool videos, thats by far my favorite pool variant, but I dont know for the rest of the viewers, most find it boring..

      I love 14.1 and most of my practice time goes towards that, but I am very far away from where I want to be with it, having seen the match vs. Ruslan before I would be thrilled to get some insight on how you approach your straight pool racks.

    Hi - excellent shooting. Can you please do a video on how someone can break like that? Also what breaking cue/tip do you use.
    Thanks & excellent shooting!

    I love that you show where you are hitting the cue ball in every shot, this format is great. Ball 9 or ball 10 would also be interesting. Thanks!

    Nice video, though I think there can be more detailed explanation so beginners will understand. For example, the first break you said it's obvious choice to go solids, you could go on to explain that solids are near pockets while stripes are clumped up and blocked by solids, so that's why you choose solids.

    what english do you use in your break? where do you hit the cueball?

  • @chairshoe81
    @chairshoe81 3 года назад +1

    why does using a triangle to rack instead of the magic rack make breaking more difficult?

    • @genipool
      @genipool  3 года назад +1

      Because with a magic rack you have a perfect tight rack. But with a triangle you will have some gaps between the balls, this is crucial for the breaking. When you have gaps, the energy from the cue ball transfers to the rack much less in this case
