Really wanted to see what Egg form would do in the bird's nest. But that gives me an excuse to play this myself now lol. It looks like a ton of fun, definitely wishlisting!

One thing I was thinking was that they seem to want to make you combo into different forms, and not just one form's abilities, (judging by the fast on the fly switch) but also encourage you to focus on one form to level it up with the quests. I thought that the two individually great ideas were conflicting, until you got to the main dungeon and had all quests locked. That made a lot of sense in terms of how they balanced gameplay; you're usually encouraged to farm in areas where enemies aren't too tough, and then get every benefit of going for an individual hero thrown right out the window, and then replaced with forced reasons to switch it up when you need to fight seriously. It's not a perfect solution, but it seems like it'd work quite well.
There's a video with one of the devs showing how the customization is going to work... it's mind blowing.

Hammer in Spanish is martillo, which is in fact pronounced like Marty Joe (well, not quite, but that's how an english speaker would pronounce it)

I believe the slug crits on any status-debuffed enemies. Which would make sense given its passive. Kinda makes you wonder if an enemy could have two status effects though.
On a side note, the slug reminds me of Isaac with how it's normal attack is.
I swear to god i know those menu sound effects from somewhere... about a blob? It was a game i had on the ps3, loved it to death, i swear this has the same menu sound effects

Curious if the Knight's stomp ability is able to be used on the cracked floor within the final dungeon to reveal treasures or if they're just aesthetics
I think you should definitely do a mini serie on this game when it comes out. Do it for the rat. Please :)
I also use a ps4 controller on pc, I used a paint pen to write it next to the button so I don’t forget.

I hate Randy's mouth. It's inverted! But i love everything else about this game, from the sprite expressions in sync with the avatar, to the art style, the oddness, the sound effects, the main character attack animation, the cinematics, everything is perfect *cheff's kiss*

I gotta say, I'm a little disappointed that the horse mines didn't have a barn door entrance to the dungeon. The game is gorgeous on the whole. I'm really liking the character portraits, scene transitions, and overworld. Each has a related but separate style that goes well together, which is impressive

I played this game and tried to faceroll like it was diablo - never was much of a zelda guy - probably have to reinstall and try it playing NOT like an idiot. :P
your pronunciation of nostramagus as nostra maagius clearly shows that you don't know who the reference of nostradamus is, and its really grinding my gears
I know who nostradamus is rofl, how do you translate it correctly in relation to nostramagus without losing cadence. I elected to utilize the hard 'j' of the shorthand magi. So sorry your gears were ground, but come on it is a fake name so this is quite pedantic.

I feel that we should encounter a creature and copy them before we can take its form. Having the Rat and Ranger forms arbitrarily available when you didn't encounter one is disappointing. Hope they incorporate this better in the full release.
